Artist Statement
“Art is the way on how to express each one’s feelings.” That’s what I believe about art. My primary medium that I use is Pen and inks, Color Pencils, Charcoals, and Graphite Pencils. From these past few years, I’ve been searching on the internet on how to improve my works in using those mediums that I mentioned. But thanks to God! It really helped me a lot! I mean is that I can really see my flaws from the last time compare to my present one.
Way back when I was a kid, I used to love to read comics like Marvel and DC comics. Also, I loved to watch anime’s. It’s like an addiction to me in a point that I wanted to have my own anime adaptation of my story someday. I am aware that there’s something in me that pushes me to achieve my very own dream. Maybe it’s because that my Mother loves to watch Anime when she was young or if it’s just that that dream was born together with me. That’s why I draw my very first comic entitled “Clay Face” wherein the story was like the same as Green Lanterns story some sorts of alien things etc.
That’s why I make my manga entries to SMAC (Silent Manga Audition) an online submission platform of a non-dialouge manga in Japan hoping I get my work chosen way back on 2016. And these days, I am now on to the making of 3d models, vector arts, digital illustrations and video editing. I create vector artworks from the different famous k-pop girl group like Momoland also, the cast from the films that I watched. Though it’s kinda time consuming, but in the end you’ll just still smile again because of the satisfaction you get from the output. Publishing webtoons also is my thing now, it’s kinda different from the manga that I used to make but still I find it also comfortable on doing it. Right now on my webtoon, I am still on the phase of creating my chapter 1 but I stopped it for the mean time to prioritize my studies first. I do edit videos too for my allowance and most of them are educational videos.
