"Music is God's gift to man, the only art of heaven given to earth, the only art of earth we take to heaven."
The gift of singing is a blessing bestowed by the Creator to mankind; to give Him glory and honor by lifting up songs of praises to depict His holiness and His wonderful saving grace and mercy. The Advent Chorale, a choir from Buhangin Center SDA Church located in Mahayag, Buhangin, Davao City, makes use of this God-given talent to reach God's precious words to people through the words of music. As the choir embark on this ministry, they are inviting anyone who share the heart of spreading God's love through music, to join them and be a part of this group as they engage in future events and, hopefully, tours.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bonafide member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
- Passionate in the music ministry
- Willing to be trained
- Available during Friday and Saturday night for regular practices (Note: practices, especially during seasons where engagements are drawing near, could be scheduled on other days)
- Preferably resides within Davao City
- With a good attitude and behavior
- Preferably 18-30 years old
Auditions are open for Sopranos, Altos, Tenors, and Basses. For auditions, prepare at least one song.
