Perfect Order Prerelease mission accomplished! We got cooked since we ended up getting the barbaracle decks but we still went home with Pokepads! Not bad at all.

Jazzuchan and I joined the Great Ball League Season 3 at Davao Magic Shop over the weekend! After a very long hiatus from in-person competitive play, I managed to rank 20 out of 64 players, which is not bad at all! My two L's to Marnie's Grimmsnarl were due to fatal misplays that literally cost me those games. While it makes me wonder what could have been had I not made those mistakes, they were also valuable lessons that helped me do better in the next ones.

I will have to admit that my last win, which was against Wugtrio mill, felt a little fraudulent because it was a lucky donk. That would have been a very difficult match up for me had it not ended on my first turn. But. A win is a win and we still take those.

Overall, it was a great experience battling it out with our trainers from the Pokemon TCG Mindanao (Official) community! I hope we get more allocation for the maximum number of players for our GBL's soon because while 64 is a bigger allocation than we had before, there were still a ton of people who couldn't join due to the limit! But that also just means more people are playing the Pokemon tcg competitively and that's definitely a good thing!

Next up is our very first Ultra Ball League in Mindanao, which will be held at Robinsons Place, Tagum City on March 28th! See you there!
