A MESSAGE OF GRATITUDE
From the President on the 70th Anniversary of San Pedro College
My dear SPC family, Dominican Sisters, alumni, partners, and friends:
With heartfelt gratitude to God, thank you and congratulations! Our eight-day celebration of San Pedro College’s 70th Founding Anniversary has filled me with joy and admiration. I am deeply proud of you and amazed by what you have accomplished together.
First, my sincere appreciation to our Oversight Committee, headed by Mr. Belindo S. Aguilar, for guiding this undertaking. I warmly thank our committees on Souvenir Program and Publications; Program and Events; Finance and Logistics; Ways and Means; Promotion and Information; our Alumni Association; and the SPC BED–Ulas 70th Anniversary Working Committee.
To every chairperson, member, and volunteer: behind each successful event were your careful planning, sleepless nights, patient adjustments, and willingness to give more than was asked. Your sacrifices are seen, your work is valued, and your love for SPC is deeply felt.
To our students, your performances were truly exceptional! Thank you for sharing your talents with such enthusiasm and discipline. To your teachers, mentors, coaches, parents, and guardians: thank you for the guidance, encouragement, and support that helped them shine.
A special thank you to our Student Leaders from the SPC Main and SPC BED Ulas Campuses, whose members quietly fulfilled important roles behind the scenes. Your readiness to help showed us student leadership through service.
To our administrators, faculty, non-teaching personnel, technical and support teams, and everyone working in the background: thank you for every detail attended to and every burden shared. To our Dominican Sisters, Board of Trustees, alumni, benefactors, sponsors, partners, and friends: thank you for your prayers, presence, generosity, and trust.
The excellence and quality of this celebration reflect one community working together and carrying the load together. You have given SPC memories to treasure and renewed confidence in what we can accomplish.
We gratefully remember Sr. Pauline Guilmette and her pioneering companions, the sisters who followed them, and the lay collaborators who helped build this mission. They shared in the mission entrusted by Jesus to the Church and carried forward through the Dominican Sisters of the Trinity in this part of the world.
What we have received, we are now called to carry forward—with competence, service, care, and compassion.
May our Legacy Project and Ulas Campus development become our grateful response: a gift to generations yet to come. Let the generosity that made this anniversary possible continue to build their future.
Thank you for giving your best. Let us move forward together, living what SPC stands for—Love Serves! May God bless you all. Congratulations and Mabuhay San Pedro College on its 70th Founding Anniversary!
Sr. Aida T. Frencillo, OP President
