𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗿?

One of our Altos, my dear mom, 𝐒𝐢𝐬. 𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐡, prayerfully says:

𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘦 𝘎𝘰𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨.

𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘷𝘰𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘐 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘦. 𝘐𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘏𝘪𝘴 𝘨𝘪𝘧𝘵.

𝘚𝘰 𝘐 𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘰𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘵 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘖𝘯𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘵.

When we sing in the choir, we don’t just sing notes. We give back what God has placed within us.

Our voices become offerings.

Our songs become worship.

And our service becomes a reflection of our love for Him. ❤️🙏

Joining the choir isn’t just about standing in front of a congregation. It’s about kneeling before God with a grateful heart, saying: “Lord, here I am. Use me.”
“O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.”

Thank you so much, 𝐄𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞, for a year of singing to the Lord with grateful hearts and joyful songs, and declaring His salvation day after day (Psalm 95:1-2; Psalm 96:2).

As we enter 2026, may our name remind us that every note we sing should be an echo of God’s own love for us in Christ, so that others hear His love through our voices (1 John 4:7-9).​

By His grace, may we keep "singing and making melody from [our] heart to the Lord," giving thanks always, and faithfully singing for God until He comes (Ephesians 5:19-20).

My dear 𝐄𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞 family...

As 2025 ends, let's:

1) Reflect on His mercies: "They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness" (Lamentations 3:22-23).

2) Reinvent with one small change (like deeper breath support or heart-filled melody) to echo God's love louder (Psalm 40:3).

3) Reboot by shaking things up: new songs, roles, or joys that make us soar like eagles in praise (Isaiah 40:31).

4) Refresh our singing for God as new creations: "Behold, I am doing a new thing!" (Isaiah 43:19) until He comes.

Through the choir, God speaks to us, comforts us, and uses us to reach others in ways words alone can’t express. 💯

We sing not to be praised, but to express our gratitude and devotion to the One who gave us our voices. 🙏

When we sing for Him, we don’t just make music. We make meaning. 🎵

Because in every song, there’s a whisper of His grace and a reminder of His presence. 😇
