Apologies for the long post and thank you in advance to those who had the patience to read up on my sharings. :)
- 1997: Started Playing Tekken casually
- 2002: Started Playing Tekken competitively within my friend circle
- 2004: Started Playing Tekken competitively within local circuits in Baguio
- 2009: Joined my first Tekken team (Team MSGN) and prowled within Metro Manila for Team Battles and Money Matches
- 2016: Started Playing SFV competitively
- 2017 to 2024: This is where my passion with esports and Tournament Organizing began and end. During my early years, I was mentored by Ron Muyot and Arthur James Malgapo. I owe these guys all the passion and knowledge that I have about tournament organizing.
The sequnce of events that I have been involved with is a blur to me but I'll list all of the events that I have handled within this span:
✅ Playbook FGC Fridays (Marshall/Commentator)
✅ PHilGA Gaming Assembly (Head T.O/Commentator)
✅ Rev Major (From Marshall to Head T.O for Tekken and SF)
✅ Globe PPGL Season 1 and 2 Tekken 7 qualifiers (Head T.O)
✅ Some SM Cyberzone Tekken 7 tournaments hosted by PlayBook (Head T.O)
✅ Some Road To Rev Major events (Head T.O)
✅ Some Local Tournaments within Cavite (Head T.O/Commentator)
✅ ESGS Brawl Fest (Head T.O)
✅ SIBOL Asian Games PH qualifiers for SF5 and FIFA 2023 (Head T.O)
✅ IESF Tekken 7 PH Qualifiers (Head T.O)
✅ Implosion Street Fighter Tournament (Head T.O)
✅ DNE Resbak (Head T.O)
✅ DNE Dash-in (Head T.O/Commentator)
Fast forward today, I'm just trying to focus on my work/life balance now and just lurking on Local FGC chismis and drama from time to time.
I started as a community organizer for fighting games, and 15 years later, I’m still here, deep in the esports scene trying to give back by sharing my knowledge and experience. 🫡
