𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐈𝐕 — 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 | You find yourself looking at the gaps, perhaps more than the seats themselves. It’s a strange realization—how a space that once held the weight of your laughter and the heat of a shared afternoon can now look so still. You remember sitting here, shoulder-to-shoulder, thinking these moments were permanent.

But now, you notice the distance. You see the "𝘦𝘮𝘱𝘵𝘺" spaces between where you stood and where they sat, realizing these gaps aren't just voids—they are the blueprints of your growth. You’ve learned that moving forward often means leaving a seat open, not out of forgetfulness, but because you are expanding into the person you were always meant to be.

Kay daling isipin subalit mahirap itong gawin, baka sa pag-usal ko ng mga katagang ito’y may takot na ako’y iyong lisanin. ‎Hiraya’s Remembering of Corners Once Knew

𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐈𝐈𝐈 — 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲’𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫 | If the entrance was our first step, the hallway is where we learn the 𝒂𝒓𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈. We often treat these stretches as just a means to an end—a transit between the rooms where we think life "actually" happens.

But there is a quiet magic in the spaces never meant for staying. It’s in these narrow corners where the paint dries on our brushes and the coffee grows cold as we lose track of time. We find that we aren’t just passing through these halls; we are leaving bits of our stories in the shadows of the walls and the light of the doorways.

We are learning that growth doesn’t always need a vast garden to begin. Sometimes, it just need a small, quiet corner and the right people to lean on while the world rushes by outside.

Hiraya’s Remembering of Corners Once Knew

𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝐈 — 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 | If you’re reading this, you’re already at the beginning with us. At the entrance, where the sun begins to set unacquainted, you have more yet to know. These might be the unfamiliar faces you haven’t learned yet, corners you haven’t lingered in, and the light that hasn’t found its way to shed ahead. You step in without realizing that one day that this place, so unremarkable in its immediacy, will quietly collect pieces of who you will become.

Like 𝒉𝒊𝒎𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒊 (向日葵), the Japanese word for 𝘀𝘂𝗻𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿, this is what it means to turn toward something. Not knowing everything yet, but still choosing to face forward. As we know that growth doesn’t arrive all at once in an instant, but it starts in small steps. Through the ordinary mornings, in slow afternoons, and lastly, in moments that don’t feel important until they are missed.

‎Hiraya’s Remembering of Corners Once Knew

‎𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝟮 — 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐩 | Part of every journey, may it be in school or in life, is the little stop we make to eat and enjoy food that fills us up and provides us energy and strength to walk towards our goals. Sometimes, we eat in school stalls or reward ourselves with a little treat after a long, tiring day inside the campus; a bonus part is if we eat with our friends and those whom we love. It's no wonder eating will always be something that brings us together even for a moment; it encourages us to stop and enjoy the present and have a little moment to breathe amongst all the chaos and turmoil we might be facing.

‎‎Those times when some of us sneak out of the classroom to buy a little snack or those little "Tara? Sama ka, bili tayo sa labas" muttered by our friends are more than just fleeting moments—they're all parts of what makes life a little lighter. Food trips will always be a reminder to stop for a while and allow ourselves to breathe and take a little break; those nibbles and munchies and shared meals are memories made and moments shared that fill our tummies with food and our hearts with warmth.💛

They feel pain. They feel fear. They suffer in silence—without a voice to defend themselves or a choice to escape.

Animal cruelty is not just an act of harm; it reflects a lack of compassion in a world that should know better. Every neglected, abused, or abandoned animal carries a story of suffering that could have been prevented with a little more kindness. They rely on us—not just for survival, but for protection, care, love, and for your kindness.

We cannot call ourselves humane if we turn a blind eye to their pain. Change begins in the smallest actions: choosing empathy, raising awareness, and standing against cruelty in all its forms.

If we can choose kindness, why choose cruelty?
