JRMSU Lundayan Dance Troupe Lundayan Dance Troupe is the official dance troupe of Jose Rizal Memorial State University - Main Campus Headed by Mr. James C. Ramoga and Mr. Jessie C.

The name Lundayan came from a Visayan statement “Lunday nga Pagdayandayan” which means good quality of presentation through dancing. From school performances to winning in some of the different competitions, the group became remarkable in the various dance venues. Flores, MA , the Dance Troupe's Adviser and Artistic Director. Objectives:
1. Shall stimulate the mindset of every student toward bette

r outlooks in life through pleasant dances;
2. to enhance the quality of attraction of the total JRMSU system outside its community and better achieve the high rate of participation among target clienteles;
3. to promote the welfare of the members by providing them the opportunity to develop their own dancing potentials, leading to a professional career.

Today, the Lundayan Dance Troupe set a vibrant tone for the Mainstreaming Innovation for Agri-Fishery Research and Development Consortium (MINA RDC-ZamPen). Performing the Opening Salvo, our dancers brought the rich heritage and energy of Zamboanga del Norte to the forefront, welcoming regional directors and researchers with vibrant cultural artistry.

Before the spotlight, there’s sweat, repetition, and a lot of heart. The Lundayan Dance Troupe is hard at work perfecting our Opening Salvo for the upcoming MINA RDC-ZamPen event. We are incredibly proud to represent JRMSU and showcase our rich cultural heritage to regional directors and researchers from across Region IX!
