There are seasons when the weight of the world feels unbearable when shadows linger, when the news is heavy, when it seems the darkness will not lift. We've all felt it. Our nation has felt it.
But there is a promise woven into the melody of "Light of a Million Mornings" a song born from faith, carried by grace, and sung by hearts that refuse to give up.
In our darkest hour, light finds us. Not because we are strong, but because hope is greater than our struggle. It fills the heart. It heals what is broken. And it reminds us that after every long night, a new dawn will break.
From the grandstand, in a simple "C" formation, the Lundayan Choristers offer this song. Across the oval field, cadets and corps commanders move with discipline and purpose young men and women being shaped into citizen-soldiers, ready to serve and defend the nation they love.
Two different expressions. One shared hope.
This is RAATI. This is the choir. This is the youth of the Philippines standing together, believing together, and holding onto the promise that the light of a million mornings still shines for this country we call home.
Let this be our candle. Let this be our prayer.
May the light that filled our hearts reach yours, too. ๐ค๏ธ๐ต๐ญ
