In celebration of National Arts Month 2026, observed pursuant to ๐—ฃ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—ฐ๐—น๐—ฎ๐—บ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป ๐—ก๐—ผ. ๐Ÿฒ๐Ÿด๐Ÿฏ, the Sining Kandidilimudan Ensemble conducted an interactive storytelling session on February 27, 2026, for the Grade 7 and 8 students of the Integrated Laboratory Science High School.

Through storytelling, students not only enjoyed meaningful narratives but also deepened their appreciation of Maguindanaon and Filipino culture and the power of oral tradition.

The Sining Kandidilimudan Ensemble conducted its ๐Ÿฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐—ฆ๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐—ฃ๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ป๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ฆ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜€๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป ๐—ณ๐—ผ๐—ฟ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—”๐—ฌ ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฑ-๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฒ on January 25, 2026, at the Center for Cultural Affairs Office. During the session, the members carefully discussed and mapped out the activities to be implemented until the end of the semester. The planning process ensured that all proposed programs and initiatives are aligned with the mandates, vision, and goals of both the University and the organization.

In addition, each newly elected officer presented their proposals to introduce fresh ideas, strengthen organizational systems, and enhance the overall productivity and unity of the group. The meeting was conducted together with the coordinator, ๐—๐—ถ๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—ฑ ๐—”. ๐—ฃ๐—ฒ๐—น๐—บ๐—ถ๐—ป, who guided the officers in refining their plans and setting clear directions for the semester ahead.

Finally, on January 8โ€“10, 2026, the Sining Kandidilimudan Ensemble held the concluding 3๐™ง๐™™ ๐™Ž๐™š๐™–๐™จ๐™ค๐™ฃ ๐™–๐™ฃ๐™™ ๐™๐™š๐™จ๐™ฉ๐™ž๐™ซ๐™–๐™ก ๐™ค๐™› ๐˜ฟ๐™ช๐™ก๐™–๐™–๐™ฃ๐™œ ๐™ˆ๐™–๐™œ๐™ช๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™™๐™–๐™ฃ๐™–๐™ค. Over the course of three consecutive days, the group presented three captivating plays titled: ๐™Ž๐™š๐™ ๐™– ๐™๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™ค ๐˜ฝ๐™š๐™œ๐™š๐™ฃ, ๐˜ฝ๐™–๐™ž ๐™๐™–๐™๐™ข๐™–, and ๐˜ผ๐™ฃ๐™œ ๐™‰๐™–๐™ฅ๐™–๐™ ๐™–๐™œ๐™ช๐™ก๐™ค๐™ฃ๐™œ ๐˜ฟ๐™ช๐™ก๐™–.

The performances were attended by students from both within and outside the campus and were officially supported and approved by our beloved Chancellor, ๐๐š๐ข ๐‡๐ž๐ฃ๐ข๐ซ๐š ๐๐ž๐Ÿ๐ž๐ซ๐ญ๐ข๐ญ๐ข ๐Œ. ๐‹๐ข๐ฆ๐›๐จ๐ง๐š, reflecting the universityโ€™s strong commitment to arts and culture. In addition, many SKE alumni were present during the event to show their unwavering support for the group, making the celebration even more meaningful and heartfelt.

This season also marked the ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ”๐ญ๐ก ๐š๐ง๐ง๐ข๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐š๐ซ๐ฒ of the organization, making the occasion even more special as the ensemble continues to uphold its legacy in promoting theatre and cultural appreciation.

Three powerful plays will be presented, each weaving narratives of identity, faith, love, and resistance inviting us to reflect on peace, conflict, and reconciliation.

Last November 13โ€“15, 2025, the Sining Kandidilimudan Ensemble (SKE) proudly participated in the 19th Tanghal Festival held in Tangub City, Misamis Occidental. This achievement would not have been possible without the steadfast support of ๐—–๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—ฒ๐—น๐—น๐—ผ๐—ฟ ๐—•๐—ฎ๐—ถ ๐—›๐—ฒ๐—ท๐—ถ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ ๐—ก๐—ฒ๐—ณ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜๐—ถ๐˜๐—ถ ๐— . ๐—Ÿ๐—ถ๐—บ๐—ฏ๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ฎ, whose unwavering dedication to culture and the arts continues to uplift and inspire our group. Her constant encouragement has opened doors of opportunity for the ensemble, allowing SKE members to develop their skills, broaden their experiences, and engage with the world of theatre beyond the university.

On December 6โ€“7, 2025, the delegates of the 19th Tanghal Festival shared the knowledge and skills they had gained from the workshop with the new members of the Sining Kandidilimudan Ensemble (SKE). The original workshop, led by ๐—œ๐—ง๐—œ (๐—œ๐—ป๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ป๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ฎ๐—น ๐—ง๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐—œ๐—ป๐˜€๐˜๐—ถ๐˜๐˜‚๐˜๐—ฒ) alumni from Singapore, ๐—ง๐—ฒ๐—ฑ ๐—ก๐˜‚๐—ฑ๐—ด๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜ ๐—ง๐—ฎ๐—ฐ-๐—”๐—ป and ๐—›๐—ผ๐—ฝ๐—ฒ ๐—ง๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ฎ๐—บ๐—ฏ๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐—ฎ๐—ป, introduced various theater practices and fundamental performance disciplines. Through the re-echo sessions, the delegates guided the new members in hands-on activities, basic actor training, and collaborative exercises, helping them strengthen both their confidence and understanding of theater as a craft. The workshop concluded with a presentation, where the new members proudly showcased what they had learned from the re-echo.
