CCIS 2025

Beginnings have endings, and endings are beginnings. So thus, we close CCIS circa 2025 to the greetings of a heart warming string of carols in both the Filipino spirit and International flavor.

And all through the performance we witnessed of the love and saving grace brought about by the first Christmas and the eternal invite of the Christ of that event, Emmanuel, Messiah, Savior.

Thank you CCIS as we have been given the opportunity to share with our multi-racial sisters and brothers in this beautiful Singapore and virtually worldwide.

James 1:17 says -
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning."

God is an unchanging, consistent and faithful God. He is the perfect gift to receive and accept today.

We pray that as Celebrate Christmas in Singapore 2025 concludes, and its end signals a beginning, may we all find ourselves in that start of belief and faith in the God who has warmed our heats and is molding it for eternity.

Dec 21 | Day 6 CCIS

The Lord’s Day was a memorable one as His Sounds took a break from Orchard road and sang -'Were it Not for Grace' at the Barker Road Methodist Church in the English service and again in the Filipino worship service later in the morning.

'Dios o Kayamanan' saw its message touch the hearts of our countrymen, that above all the gifts we will receive this Christmas, the Child savior in our hearts will be the greatest one.

Proceeding in the afternoon, His Sounds sang at the St. Andrews Cathedral, at the - church outreach fund raising held at the Church for all peoples and their congregations; likewise at the main cathedral sending God's kingdom message through 'Lo how a rose er blooming' and a benediction assurance that 'All is well'.

We were all full and blessed in the Spirit, remembering Him during this Advent.

Dec 20 | Day 5 CCIS

Leading with the quintet on 'Noche Buena' which translates to Christmas Eve, His Sounds sang on its fifth CCIS night to a packed Saturday crowd of mixed peoples and persuasions.

With the audience joining with the familiar carols of the season, the Christ story of love and grace waxed evident in the songs.

Even as His Sounds interspersed song with spoken word, a call to repentance and acceptance of the Christmas Child 8n their lives clinched the evening.

The crowds stayed on till the last song as God through His Spirit soul searched for His favor. Ending with the 'Merry Christmas song'; it was more than a greeting, more than religion, it is a relation that defines the difference. His message of grace and peace was the central theme of this celebration.

Be witnesses to the Christmas story with His Sounds again in the next few days, listening to His call.

From the lines of ‘Kumukutikutitap' to 'Simbang Gabi', local carols that speak of the Filipino Advent dawn services and spirit to 'God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen', a carol that reminds us of the Savior's birth, dispelling fear and instilling hope; we find our souls beyond the tinsel and wrappings to a longing for the call to confession amidst the pervading confusion, anger and hate.

Truly His Sounds speaks of how God has made available this time and place to bring an eternal message of truth - the 'First Coming' of the God's promise at Christmas - of a Friend, Savior and King all in one.

May we find ourselves in the songs and message of The Trinity and be swept in the season's call of Joy, Peace, Hope and Love.

Amidst a backdrop of Orchard road lights and the Christmas speakers, His Sounds was blessed with a crowd of shoppers and visitors. Paused by the Spirit, they witnessed music and mission come together as the good news of 2000+ years old, renewed and came alive once again.

Clapping to the tune of familiar carols and to the - made famous film Sister Act 'Oh Happy Day' song, crowd and singers became one in celebration. That little child, the Christ was and is the offering that bridges us to the greatest gift, eternal life itself. As our song says ‘Tuloy na Tuloy pa rin ang Pasko'.

Dec 17 | Day 2 CCIS

Hello Singapore! Maligayang Pasko! We started the day at our newest partner Korean Church of Singapore. Singing in their Wednesday morning prayer meeting heard the strains of our anthems fill their beautiful sanctuary and see faces glow with God's love; where music became our common language in praise and worship to him. We pray that this new brethren become another opportunity window for blessings.

The afternoon was invested with our erstwhile friends at Hougang Care Center, praising God through shared carols and warm thoughts of healing and Christmas. We celebrate them as we are honored to be under God's loving hands.

And at the Ion stage in the late evening heard our songs wafting through the crowd as Filipinos sang to the familiar Tagalog carols of 'Pasko na Naman', 'Noche Buena', 'Ang Pasko ay Sumapit'...a perfect day of praise, presence and purpose.

Matching praise with purpose, 'Celebrate Christmas in Singapore (CCIS)' welcomed the return of His Sounds to its 2025 edition. Amidst the last raindrops earlier in the day and then clearing skies, December 16, the Wisma stage at Orchard Road witnessed our first flurry of joyous Christmas carols.

His Sounds connected with their warmth of voice and presence filling the night with the music of the seasons' reason and celebration, Jesus Christ! Be with us this whole week at both Wisma and Ion stage.

Greetings of joy and peace in Christ our Lord!

As we celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, the true Light who came into the world (John 1:9), we, the members of His Sounds Chorale Philippines, lift our voices in gratitude to our sovereign God. We thank the Lord for His grace in using us as instruments to proclaim His Word through music, for the privilege of being part of His redemptive work, and for faithfully sustaining us throughout the year.

Each member of this chorale comes from different Christian churches, yet we are united by one faith, one hope, and one purpose—to glorify our one God and Savior, Jesus Christ. As the essence and center of Christmas, He is the cornerstone of our ministry, binding us together in harmony to declare His glory and the wonders of His love.

May this season remind us of the glorious truth that Christ’s incarnation was the ultimate demonstration of God’s grace (John 1:14).

CCIS 2024 | Final Day

The finale of Celebrate Christmas in Singapore at the Wisma Stage featured His Sounds delivering a breathtaking final performance. With heartfelt harmonies and soul-stirring renditions of beloved carols and hymns, they shared the joy and hope of Christmas with everyone along Orchard Road. Their music reflected the heart of the season—God’s love revealed through the gift of His Son, Jesus Christ. Thank you to all who joined us; may the message of Christmas continue to inspire and bless you throughout the year!
