Happy Eid'l Adha Al-Mubarak Everyone!🥰✨
Ma'af lakuum lillāhi ta'ala to those people I've hurt from my words and action.
Today, we remember not just a ritual, but a legacy.
A legacy of surrender. Of trust. Of love placed in the hands of the Divine.
When Prophet Abraham (AS) was told to leave his family in a barren land, he obeyed.
When he was shown a dream to sacrifice his son, he submitted.
Every step he took was not for comfort, but conviction.
And Allah responded with mercy.
He turned fear into safety.
Sacrifice into reward.
And their story into a timeless ritual, honored by millions around the world on this day.
Eid al-Adha is more than a moment of celebration.
It is a reminder that true faith isn’t proven by ease, but by obedience.
That the tests we face—especially through what we love—can become the path to closeness with Allah.
So as we gather with loved ones, share meals and offer our sacrifices, let us also make this du’aa:
رَبِّ ٱجْعَلْنِى مُقِيمَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِى ۚ رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلْ دُعَآءِ رَبَّنَا ٱغْفِرْ لِى وَلِوَٰلِدَىَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ ٱلْحِسَابُ
Lord, grant that I and my offspring may keep up the prayer. Our Lord, accept my request. Our Lord, forgive me, my parents, and the believers on the Day of Reckoning. [14:40-41]
Rabbi aj‘alnī muqīma aṣ-ṣalāti wa min dhurriyyatī, rabbanā wa taqabbal du‘āa’. Rabbanā’ghfir lī wa li-wālidayya wa lil-mu’minīn yawma yaqūmu al-ḥisāb.
May your Eid be filled with meaning, mercy and moments of sincere surrender.
Let this day bring you back to the essence of your faith.
Eid Mubarak!🌸
