When I was young, I used to wonder why Siargao wasn't recognized as one of the best islands in the Philippines. In fact it has white sand beaches, caves, waterfalls, lagoons, diving and surfing spots, tiny islands, and many more. Moreover, in the past 6 years it's popularity was growing and was named best island in Asia. Indeed, Siargao is not just a mere island, but for us locals, it's like a gem anyone could look into and fall in love with.
