More than two months of rehearsals, there were nights when our bodies were already tired but our hearts refused to stop.
We came in carrying our own worries, fears, and silent prayersโ€”yet we stayed, we listened, we tried again.
Every brainstorm, every correction, every struggle slowly became our halad sa Sto. Niรฑo, offered with trembling hands but sincere hearts.
At the center of it all is radyo sa kasingkasingโ€”the quiet signal we held on to when things felt heavy.
A voice of faith that kept whispering padayon, reminding us that even when the world grows noisy, love and devotion will always find a way to be heard.
Now, as we step onto the streets, we ask you to walk and dance with us.

Today was meant to be a day of celebration for Tejero, a day when we proudly bring our story, our devotion, and our hard work to the stage of Sinulog sa Dakbayan. But as the drums were beating and the lights were being prepared, our hearts were drawn back to Sitio Riverside, where many of our neighbors faced a heartbreaking fire.

In one moment, homes were lost. Memories were turned to ashes. Families were left holding only what they could save with their own hands. It is painful that this happened on the same day we were supposed to showcase the beauty and strength of our barangay.

This reminds us that Sinulog is not just about performance, it is about community, compassion, and faith. While we dance and sing in honor of the Seรฑor Santo Niรฑo, we also lift up those who are hurting today. Your loss is our loss. Your pain is our pain.

To the families of Sitio Riverside, please know that you are not alone. Tejero stands with you. We will help, we will pray, and we will rebuild together. Even in tragedy, we believe that hope will rise again โ€” just as our people always do.

May the Santo Niรฑo wrap every affected family in His protection, give strength to those who are weary, and light the way forward after this dark moment.
