Our full hearts. Our shared journey. One Family.
At the Archdiocesan Shrine of Our Lady of the Rule in Lapu-Lapu City, the Paref Southcrest Girls Choir completed our Jubilee Pilgrimage—not as individuals, but as one family walking together in faith. This sacred place became the gathering point of everything we had prayed for, sung, and journeyed through as pilgrims of hope.
With deep love and gratitude, the Jabines family offered flowers to Our Lady, a gentle and beautiful act of devotion entrusted to our Mother. United in prayer, Father Nong led the entire congregation in the Rosary, reminding us that the heart of the Church beats strongest when we pray as one—families, pilgrims, and faithful walking side by side.
From prayer flowed song. Guided by our choral director, Mr. Dennis Sugarol, the girls lifted their voices in Pilgrims of Hope, not merely as a performance, but as a living expression of this Jubilee journey. In that moment, music became prayer. From the shrine, the girls joyfully greeted everyone, wishing all a Happy Feast Day, sharing the light and hope they carried in their hearts.
This pilgrimage echoes the call of Pope Francis continued by Pope Leo for a Church that is united as one family, journeying together toward God with hope and trust. Our final stop was not an ending, but a sending forth—a reminder that faith is meant to be lived, shared, and passed on.
As we close this pilgrimage, we are excited to share what was born from it. Very soon, we will release the video of the girls singing Pilgrims of Hope, offered as a Christmas gift to the Southcrest families and to all our listeners, wherever they may be. May this song continue the journey—carrying hope, unity, and faith far beyond these sacred steps. ✨🤍
