The St. Augustine Parish Church—officially known as the St. Augustine of Hippo Parish Church—is a historic and prominently modernized spiritual landmark situated along the Central Nautical Highway in Carmen, northern Cebu.

The parish was originally established on August 19, 1851, starting out as a visita (chapel-of-ease) of the neighboring town of Catmon. The original structure was built using traditional Spanish-era coral stone with a wooden belfry, but it underwent a massive and ambitious reconstruction in the 1960s under Father Jaime Borces, who replaced the old structure with a grand, modern building made of concrete.

Philippine Airlines is officially set to soar to new heights after securing a coveted invitation to join the prestigious Oneworld Alliance.

​The flag carrier will team up along with 15 of the world's leading active airlines, unlocking an expansive global network of more than 1,000 destinations worldwide. Passengers can look forward to a seamless travel experience, particularly when navigating connecting trips across all Oneworld member destinations. Oneworld members can also access more than 29 destinations across the Philippines including Caticlan, Puerto Princesa, and Tawi-Tawi Island.

​The monumental partnership will also grant travellers access to premium airport lounges, elite frequent flyer privileges, and enhanced mileage rewards. Philippine Airlines is expected to achieve full membership status by 2027.
