And if you don’t, then what are you doing with your life? Go get a hobby right now. 🫵🏻😤

Seriously though, everyone deserves something that makes them lose track of time and fall in love with being alive a little more. 🤪🙌🏻

—You just have to make it exist first. You can always improve it later. The hardest part is almost always the beginning. The showing up, the starting, the trying despite not knowing how it’ll turn out.

But what matters most is that you begin. 🫡

PS: Not just talking about paintings here hihihi 🤪🫶🏻

Waiting For You, 05.25.26

—Taking you through the process of this painting. A real tear-jerker, this one. It was actually my first time tearing up while painting a piece, especially when I added the cracks on the wall. There was this heaviness in my chest I couldn’t quite explain. 😭

Anyway, if you want to know more about the meaning behind this piece, you can check the caption from my previous reel. But for now, I’d love to know, which stage of the painting did you like best? 🧡💜💚🤎

—This is your gentle reminder that every painting has an ugly phase. 🥴🖼️

Most of your favorite artists are simply people who chose not to quit during that phase. They kept showing up, kept trusting their hands, and kept believing the vision would eventually come together.

So if you’re currently in the ugly phase of your art, your work, or even your life… keep going. Some of the most beautiful things in life first arrive looking unfinished. 😌🫶🏻

La Casita, 04.20.26
—Been gatekeeping this photo for a while, but it’s too beautiful not to share with you. There’s just something magical about the way sunlight hits a painting. Suddenly the colors come alive, the shadows soften, and everything starts to make a little more sense. ☀️🖼️

So many of you have shown love for this piece and told me it made you feel something deeply enough to want to step inside it haha! 🤣 And honestly… I feel the same way. 😎

I’m starting to think that maybe, subconsciously, I paint these little worlds as a form of escape from reality. Just quiet places filled with warmth, peace, and stillness. And it makes me so happy knowing that some of you find comfort in them too. ☺️🫶🏻

Also, I’ll be sharing some very exciting news with you soon! So be sure to follow to keep posted! 😉👉🏻

Best Friends in Greece, 05.08.26 🇬🇷

—One of the most challenging parts of painting this piece was working through all the tiny details while trying to build a story around them. From the hat and scarf resting on the edge of the chair, to the empty wine bottle and half-full glasses on the table, to the half-read book turned face down to save a page. Every object felt like a clue to a larger narrative.

I like to imagine the best friends in this painting simply went for a swim in the ocean. Or maybe they got swept away onto a dance floor by handsome strangers. Or maybe they got kidnapped and sold off! Who knows? 🤭

But I think that’s the beauty of paintings. There’s never just one fixed story. An artist can try to explain the vision behind a piece, but the real magic happens when the painting begins to speak to the viewer instead. When it triggers a memory, awakens a feeling, or reflects a longing they carry within themselves.

I like to believe that the moment an artist shares their work with the world, it no longer belongs entirely to them. It becomes part of the people who find their own stories within it.

With that said, I hope you find your story in mine. 🫶🏻
