Created by Tinihik-Tingi Team, a group composed of BMMA graduates of 2026, Robin Michael Canucot, Kylle Adrianne Llaneta, Frances Clairre Dolar, and Angel Villahermosa, under the guidance of their adviser Roy Ingente, this thesis project highlights the power of community, sustainability, and Filipino creativity.
Working alongside local weaving mothers, the team transformed upcycled materials into meaningful handcrafted pieces that embody resilience, resourcefulness, and shared purpose. Each woven thread tells a story of collaboration, where individual efforts come together to create something greater than themselves.
From traditional practices to contemporary purpose, HABING-SILONG celebrates how small acts of creativity and care can weave a larger story of connection and collective spirit.
