It’s been such a heavy year and it really would not be an exaggeration for me to say that my rekindled love for reading held me together from completely breaking apart.

Ending 2025 with a 25/12 reading goal 📚 and wishing next year would be kinder for everyone.

my birthday this year was probably the most uneventful so far.

no parties.
no big gatherings.

just a family lunch out and a few small meetups with friends sprinkled throughout the month.

it was slow, quiet, and peaceful.
exactly what i needed.

only a few greeted me this year, a result of the social decluttering i’ve done over the past year. and i’m so grateful i did. 💕

now—though few—the people in my circle are the ones i can genuinely call friends.

books, letters, flowers, and handmade items. basically all the ways to my heart. i was showered with everything. as they say, “to be loved is to be known” 💕

wishing for more slow and gentle birthdays like this. quiet but full.

i’m grateful to have my family, the real ones, and the peace i’ve worked so hard to get to ✨
