Congratulations to our representatives, George Villamor, Choreographer of the Fo Guang Shan Cebu Dance Company (FGS CDC), and Klayd Cuizon, the FGS CDC Teaching Assistant, for successfully completing the "National Folk Dance Workshop 2026: โ€œTukib, Saot, Likhaโ€ featuring PANUHID" in Iloilo City.

Over eight days of intensive workshops, cultural exchanges, research forums, and performances, they deepened their knowledge and appreciation of Philippine folk dances and cultural heritage alongside fellow artists, educators, and cultural advocates from across the country.

We are proud of your dedication to preserving and promoting Filipino culture through dance. May the skills, insights, and inspiration gained from this experience continue to enrich our performances, training programs, and cultural education initiatives.

Through songs that honored the compassionate vision of Venerable Master Hsing Yun and expressed our gratitude to Venerable Yung Guang, "SWITCH: Harmony, The Sound of Possibility" became our heartfelt offering.

As we sang, we also embraced the beauty of our roots, celebrating our culture, stories, and identity through music.

From our unique local bazaar to witnessing inspiring performances from the Fo Guang Shan Cebu Dance Company, Everlight Vocale Ensemble, and a magical preview of two musicals: Star and Cloud The Musical and The Little Mermaid Jr. by the Octave Campers, every moment was filled with joy and connection.
