From February 6–8, Museo Trece will be presenting a selection of works from its private collection at Art Fair Philippines 2026.

This collection brings together early, mid-career, and younger recipients of the Thirteen Artists Awards. These are artists who break away from traditional ideas of pictorial cohesiveness and stay grounded in artistic truth rather than quick recognition or commercial ease. Their works carry layered narratives, social truths, and introspective gestures that reflect both personal and collective histories. Through this conversation, viewers are invited into a shared space of intuition, beauty, and the ongoing shaping of our cultural imagination.

Museo Trece is a contemporary art museum in Cavite dedicated to archiving the evolving language of Philippine art. Its collection centers on works by recipients of the Thirteen Artists Awards, bringing together practices that have shaped, questioned, and expanded artistic thinking in the Philippines over the past five decades. These are artists whose work restructured, restrengthened, and renewed art making and art thinking in ways that mattered deeply to Philippine art culture. The museum aims to inspire the emerging generations while serving as a point of reference for artistic integrity, critical inquiry, and a sustained creative practice that responds to innovative experimentation and community engagement.
