ISU Performing Artists Shine in “DALOY: Ang Pagtatanghal” During ISU’s 48th Founding Anniversary
The vibrant spirit of culture, artistry, and unity filled the ISU Echague Amphitheater on June 10, 2026, as the ISU STEPS Dance Troupe, in collaboration with the ISU-E Kappianan Dance Troupe and the talented performing artists from the different campuses of the Isabela State University System, successfully staged a remarkable cultural presentation titled “DALOY: Ang Pagtatanghal” in celebration of the University’s 48th Founding Anniversary.
The event became a powerful showcase of Filipino heritage, creativity, and passion through breathtaking performances that captivated the audience and honored the rich traditions of Philippine dance and storytelling.
One of the highlights of the presentation was the performance of “Kadal Tahu,” the National PASUC 2026 Indigenous Dance Piece which earned the distinction of 6th Runner-Up during the national competition. The performance embodied the beauty of indigenous culture through graceful movements, rhythmic storytelling, and culturally inspired choreography that reflected the identity and traditions of the Filipino people.
The audience was also moved by the stunning presentation of “Takiling,” the National PASUC 2024 Indigenous Dance Piece that proudly achieved the title of 4th Runner-Up. With its powerful interpretation, dynamic formations, and emotional storytelling, the performance once again showcased the exceptional talent and dedication of ISU’s performing artists.
Adding further excitement to the event was the Contemporary Dance Duo performance, which demonstrated versatility, emotion, and modern artistic expression. The performers delivered an inspiring act that blended technique, passion, and creativity, earning admiration from the audience.
“DALOY: Ang Pagtatanghal” became more than just a performance—it served as a celebration of culture, collaboration, and artistic excellence within the ISU System.
