How well we remember the basics can determine how well we stand and persevere. The basics form the foundation of all we do. A faulty foundation and eventually we crumble. A firm foundation can stand no matter how difficult life becomes. (c)

Y. Changed just unfolded another series good for the whole month of March and it was entitled "Back to Basics". We must guard against complicating the Christian life and what the Church is about. If we remember the basic principle of God, we will be used by God to make a difference for eternity.

Here is the catch, since it is Saturday again it is Y. Changed Jam again! 🎉 Get ready and expectant for another new encounter with the Lord through praise and Word.

This is not the time time to pull pull away and neglect meeting together, as some have formed the habit of doing. In fact, we should come together even more frequently, eager to encourage and urge each other onward as we anticipate that day dawning.(Hebrews 10:25 TPT)

God knows that when we meet together we get inspired and challenge to live for Him.
So don't give in things that would pull you away from going to church.
Decide to make meetings with your brothers and sisters in Christ a priority in your life!

It is a great way to keep yourself encouraged in your faith.

In this world, we are constantly searching for things to complete the void in our hearts. But the more that we have, the more that we even seek for more.
Fame, recognition, love? We always yearn to fill the restlessness and the deep longing to search for something but we are never satisfied.

According to Ecclesiastes 3:11, God has set eternity in the human heart and this points to the truth that we are always bound to look for something.
Wow! Aren't you glad that God did this to the human heart? God did not put a hole to make us seek for earthly things to quench this thirst for completeness. Rather, he did this so that we would realize that we are incomplete without Him and it is only when we are willing to surrender and entrust our lives to God that our inner restlessness is stilled.

Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
- John 4: 13-14 NIV

In this annual Heart's Night celebration, may we all be reminded that God is the only key to make our hearts whole and our lives be purposeful. So instead of chasing the things of this world, let us draw nearer to God, the author and the finisher of our faith!

Be excited. Be expectant! God loves you and He is all you need! Invite your friends and your loved ones to know this truth, too!
