𝙌𝙪𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙩 2026, 𝙖𝙖𝙗𝙧𝙞𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙝𝙖 𝙢𝙖𝙨 𝙙𝙖𝙢𝙤 𝙣𝙜𝙖 𝙢𝙜𝙖 𝙧𝙚𝙮𝙣𝙖?

The very first crown was won by Ms. Matricamae Centino in 2014, which was originally called as Miss Maqueda Gay and it was only in 2016 that it was officially called as Queen Manaragat coinciding with the 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 of the city as the 𝘤𝘢𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘳𝘢 or capital and our St. Bartholomew Parish as 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘢 and mission center of the whole Samar island.

𝙈𝙞𝙨𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙈𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙩 2026, 𝙪𝙪𝙨𝙖𝙝𝙤𝙣?

The very first merger of the two premier pageants of Catbalogan City was in 2016 during the 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 of the city as the 𝘤𝘢𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘳𝘢 or capital and our St. Bartholomew Parish as 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘢 and mission center of the whole Samar island.

Said pageant merger has crowned and etched the names of 𝗠𝘀. 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗴 who is now a lawyer and notary public based in Cebu City, and 𝗠𝗿. 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗷𝗼 𝗜𝘀𝗼 who was formerly a senior engineer at the National Housing Authority and now developing a resort in Marabut.

Is it time to merge again Miss Manaragat : The Search for Miss Catbalogan City and Mister Manaragat : The Search for Mister Catbalogan City?

With just fifteen (15) days since publication, we have already received more than 100 responses for the 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘁 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘆.

The third billeting school for Catbalogan City delegation was at Palhi Elementary School, Baybay City and the Manaragat Festival theme continues.

Highlighting our cultural identity and cultural pride as decorations, this is an opportunity to foster pride, awareness, and positive impact among spectators, fellow contingents, and officials.

The colorful underwater scene featuring corals, seaweeds, fishing boats, and fishes in varied shapes and hues used recycled props first used during the 2025 Tandaya Festival that gave Catbalogan City a three-peat win in the Float Competition and a Championship win in the Street Dancing and Ritual Showdown.

With the intercession of St. Bartholomew, Patron Saint of Catbalogan City and Nuestra Señora de la Inmaculada Concepción, the Patroness of Baybay City, we are bridging faith, culture and sportsmanship -- one regional meet at a time.

HIGHLIGHTS: 2025 Manaragat Festival Grand Parade and Showdown

The 22nd Manaragat Festival was organized by the City Government of Catbalogan headed by City Mayor Dexter Uy in celebration of the feast of Señor San Bartolome this whole month of August as supported by City Vice Coefredo “Tekwa” Uy and City Councilor Stephany Uy-Tan as Committee Chair on Tourism, Culture and Arts.

All activities were facilitated by the Catbalogan City Tourism, Culture, Arts & Information Office (CTCAIO) as supported by the Catbalogan City Tourism Council (CTC) and the Local Culture & the Arts Council of Catbalogan City (LCAC).
