On March 15, the very first "Hope Lasts" exhibit by Project Hulmahan will feature the works of over 700 Filipino artists that transformed more than 1,000 pieces of wooden shoe lasts into unique works of art.

AND GUESS WHAT? We will also be there! 🙋‍♀️

Together, let's amplify the message! Let there be hope. And with joint efforts, make it last! 💖

Last December, I received an invitation from a friend to join this initiative of that aims to transform old shoe lasts into a beautiful work of art.

Artists from all over the country worked together to bring new life into these pieces of "hulmahan" that have been neglected due to the closure of some local shoe manufacturers in Marikina.

Our finished entries will soon be featured in an art exhibit and will be auctioned. Proceeds of this project will fund the projects of Bayanihang Marikenyo at Marikenya, The Community Kitchen Project, and the UP Artist's Circle.

Hello there! I'm back after almost a year of hiatus. Let me tell you about this project that inspired me to hold my brush again!
