Let's have a friendly battle in the Land of Dawn. Join the Mobile Legends Tournament hosted by the Municipality of Caraga, sponsored by Batinao's Haven, Bango Beach Resort, and Lakbay Mandaya!Here are the detailed mechanics for registration and gameplay:
Registration:
- Slots open
- Open to all teams with different gender preferences (Male, Female,and LGBTQ+)
- The registration fee is set at ₱250 for each participating team. The total amount collected from these fees will be awarded as a prize to the team that emerges as the Champion (Winner takes all).
- Teams must have a unique name and logo.
- Participants must be bona fide residents of Caraga.
- Open exclusively to players residing in Caraga.
- Deadline: April 17, 2024.
Tournament Mechanics:
1. Format:
- Double-elimination format.
- Matches will be played in a best-of-three (3) series, except for the grand finals, which will be a best-of-five (5) series.
- Official Mobile Legends map with standard rules.
- Championship round: face-to-face match.
2. Schedule:
- The tournament schedule will be provided to all registered teams prior to the event.
- Matches will be scheduled in advance, and teams must be present and ready to play at the designated times.
3. Rules:
- Adhere to the Mobile Legends Code of Conduct.
- Cheating, hacking or exploiting bugs will result in disqualification.
- Pausing and Remaking in the game is only allowed in cases of technical issues, such as a lost internet connection. There will be two (2) pauses for 30 seconds per team in every game and one (1) remake in every game each team.
-Failure to open five (5) minutes prior to each match will automatically disqualify you from that match only.
4. Match Procedure:
- Hosted by designated referees.
- Live feed is required at game start for player verification to avoid pilot player issues.
- Standard drafting process.
5. Scoring:
- Teams will accumulate points based on their performance in each match. A total of five (5) points will be awarded to teams for every match they win.
- Wins will award points, while losses will not.
- In the event of a tie, the tiebreaker will be a one-game match, and the winning team will proceed to another round of the game.
6. Code of Conduct:
- Respectful behavior is expected.
- All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner.
- Any form of harassment, discrimination, or unsportsmanlike behavior will not be tolerated and may result in disqualification.
7. Disputes:
- Any disputes or issues during matches must be reported to the tournament organizers immediately.
- Decisions made by the tournament organizers or referees are final and binding.
8. Streaming and Broadcasting:
- The tournament will be streamed or broadcast on official channels for spectators to watch.
9. Feedback:
- Participants are encouraged to provide feedback after the tournament to help improve future events.
10. Disclaimer:
- The tournament organizers reserve the right to make changes to the rules or format if necessary to ensure fair play and the smooth operation of the event.
