(The Filipinos for Arts & Culture) – Napapanahon na mabigyang “Sulok ng Pagkilala at Pasasalamat” ang Pinoy Sining sa loob ng La Casa Azul (Nava Cruz Gallery-Museum) sa Calumpit, Bulacan. And very soon, sa ipatatayong “Fortress of Understanding” / “Friendship Park” sa Bolinao, Pangasinan.
PS Overview
• Pinoy Sining (Filipinos for Arts & Culture) is established on January 5, 2007, and endorsed by its Advisory Board and initial set of Executive Officers during its first General Assembly Meeting held on 5th January 2007 at the White Palace Hotel in Riyadh.
• The main purpose of the organization, “Pinoy Sining” (Filipinos for Arts & Culture), is to hone and develop the artistic aptitudes and creative abilities of Filipinos, especially those who possess untapped natural talents such as in the field of writing, (creative and literary); stage production, designs and props; theater arts (stage directing, acting); visual arts (paintings, etc.); entertainment production (sing-and-dance-genre); moving arts (documentary, film productions), etc. while simultaneously enhance and widen their grasp and understanding of various Filipino way-of-life through immersion in all sorts of cultural awareness programs and social presentations/productions. It serves as a consolidating basket of talents and expertise to promote Filipino arts and culture, which will primarily act as a perfect social stimulus to value and accept the regional ethnicity and identity of one another.
• Furthermore, another objective of the organization is to promote multi-cultural, multi-racial, multi-social understanding between Filipinos and other diverse members of the international communities and societies through a variety of professional collaborations to stage and present educational and enriching arts programs and presentations. “Pinoy Sining” is a suitable arena and avenue, where everyone can uphold the rewards of arts by way of showcasing our exemplary imaginative artistic products and be immersed into the inner core of cultural depth and acceptance, which will basically encourage peace and foster international comradeship.
“Pinoy Sining” (Filipinos for Arts and Culture) is also dedicated to help, in all ways they deem possible − (mentally, socially, morally, and even financially) − the distressed members of the Filipino community, not only in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, but throughout the global village.
