The APC had an incredible opportunity to watch Lakambini: Gregoria de Jesus with the Cultural Affairs Organization. An amazing story of courage and resilience that left us all inspired. Her legacy was almost forgotten, but her spirit remains. Lakambini tells the story of Gregoria de Jesus, a brave woman who fought with revolutionaries and left a lasting impact ๐Ÿซก.

In accordance to Presidential Proclamation No. 683 signed in 1991, the National Commission for Culture and the Arts is preparing to celebrate with the theme โ€œAni ng Sining, Diwa at Damdaminโ€.

RATIONALE:
NCCA believes that our nationโ€™s creativity springs forth from the spirit and passion of our people. The spirit, our diwa, is the essence, the soul, the core of the ways of the arts that resonate with our passion, the damdamin that is enriched by our history and hope for the future. This 2025, the National Arts Month celebrates the expressions of beauty that dwell within the spirit and passion of the nation.
