✨ Behind the scenes of a resin piece that DID NOT go as planned. 😅

I tried to make this piece fully furnished and give it that clean, finished look… but yeah… it didn’t happen. 😂 So, we’re doing it AGAIN!

Here’s what I did:

🧼 Step 1: Clean everything and make sure it’s completely dry.
🫧 Step 2: Apply Elmer’s glue to the bottom and all 5 sides, filling it up completely. Let it dry for 24 hours.
✨ Step 3: Pour the final resin coat.
🧩 Step 4: Demold the dried glue.

Sounds easy, right? Well… the resin had other plans. 😂 The resin overlapped in some areas, and the finish wasn’t what I wanted.

But that’s the thing about resin art — sometimes you get the perfect pour, and sometimes you get a lesson. 🤣

So… back to the workbench! 🔨✨
Let’s see if Take 2 turns out better. 🤞

Flowers may fade, but memories can last forever. 🌹✨ Preserved with love and sealed in resin🤍

It’s been a while. 🤎 Here is my latest work — preserved flowers in a wooden alkansya. 🌸✨

Things have been moving slowly, but I’m learning that there’s also beauty in working quietly, creating at my own pace, and simply enjoying the process.

Creating something new with my own hands is such a beautiful gift. I’m grateful for the creativity, the patience, and the opportunity to keep creating.

Thank You, Lord, for this gift. 🤎
Slowly, quietly, but still creating. ✨

Now comes the satisfying part! 🌸

• Pouring the resin layer by layer to build depth and protect the flowers.
• Demolding the table after it’s fully cured—always my favorite moment!
• Cleaning the edges and sanding the entire piece to achieve a smooth, flawless finish before the final polishing.

Every step takes time and patience, but seeing it all come together makes it worth it. Stay tuned for Part 3! 🤍

Part 1: How I Created This 14-Inch Resin Table 🌸✨
I preserved these flowers for two weeks until they became completely dry while keeping their beautiful colors. Then I poured the first resin layer, carefully arranged the flowers using sticks to keep them in place, and added the second layer. After curing overnight, I continued filling the table with more flowers to achieve a full and balanced design.

This piece is extra special because it came from the wedding bouquet of one of my closest friends. 💍🌸

We decided to preserve her bouquet and turn it into a beautiful table piece—a lasting reminder of the day they tied the knot and began their journey together with God at the center of their marriage.

The preservation process wasn’t easy. By the time I received the bouquet, some of the flowers had already started to wilt and not all of them could be saved. Still, I carefully preserved every flower that I could and arranged them to fill this 14-inch mold, making the most of what remained from such a meaningful day.

This project took about a month to complete, plus another month in between because of my busy schedule. It required a lot of patience, care, and attention to detail, but today I can finally share the finished piece.

I truly hope this serves as a beautiful reminder of their wedding day, God’s faithfulness, and the love they promised to each other.

✨ P.S. I only did the flower preservation and resin work.
