KAGAYA NON, is a tagalog phrase that literally translates to "similar to-", and at the same time a play on words to the term "Kagay-anon" which refers to the locals of Cagayan de Oro. The purpose of this group is to seek compilation ,and ultimately, publication of the artworks of CdeO based (or former CDO-based) digital artists who may or may not have their own individual art pages/businesses yet. "Kagaya non", because we will be having publications and launching pages /websites as a collective, similar to what other organizations composed of artists from various art scenes all over the country who are already ahead of us in this aspect are doing.

Good day, everyone!

We would like to once again congratulate and thank all of our contest participants. Our first Sketchcard Making Contest wouldn't have been a success without you guys.

Computing the results took more than a week because everyone did so well that our panel of special guest judges had a hard time scoring & selecting which entries would be most deserving.

But we are now happy to announce our first contest's set of winners.

==========================================

The criteria for judging we followed is:

Relevance to the Theme - 50%
Creativity/ Originality/ Technical Skill- 30%
X-Factor -20%

Our 1st place scored an average total of 92.6 %
Our 2nd & 3rd places 89.98% & 89.93% respectively
And our honorable 4th place 87.28%

==========================================

Winners may start claiming their prizes & have their pictorials this Thursday and/or Friday ( September 17 & 18, 2026 ) afternoon 4 PM onwards at the kame house collections / Pizza Patsada - CDO store located in 21st-27th Streets Nazareth 🙂

Feel free to reach out to the page for inquiries, & stay tuned for more exciting activities 😎
