With regret we had to take note of the resignation of Mr. Bradley Garner from the panel of Jury.
We are all the more pleased to welcome, Ms. Shinjung Oh, one of the leading Korean flutists, to the jury!
Shinjung Oh is one of the leading flute soloist, chamber musician, and educator in South Korea. She graduated from Seoul National University with a Bachelor degree and graduated from Manhattan School of Music in New York, USA with a Master degree.
For years Shinjung Oh performed as the Co-Principal at KBS Orchestra. She played with numerous orchestras in Korea, Japan, Europe and the USA and appeared as the soloist in various concerts around the world. Shinjung has been appointed as Powell Artist by V.Powell flute. She is currently the Professor of the Music Department at Inje University and the head director of If Ensemble.
She has also been appointed as a jury member in numerous international competitions, including Biwako international flute competition in Japan, Camerata Artists International Competition in America and AFF (Asia Flute Federation) international competition in China. As an educator, through the years Shinjung has never stopped her passion in developing young flutists to become one of the best performers.
