𝙆𝙖𝙮𝙡𝙖𝙣 𝙢𝙖𝙣 ‘𝙙𝙞 𝙣𝙖 𝙥𝙖𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙞𝙣~ 🗣️

In February 1986, Filipinos gathered in EDSA to have a peaceful protest, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙫𝙤𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙛𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙙𝙤𝙢 against the dictatorship during that time. This movement ended that tyranny and helped the Philippines regain its freedom.

Today, we commemorate this as the 𝙀𝘿𝙎𝘼 𝙋𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙋𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧 𝙍𝙚𝙫𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣. Even now in its 40𝙩𝙝 𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧, it continues being the symbol of the Filipinos’ courage and unity against injustices. May this day remind us to 𝙉𝙀𝙑𝙀𝙍 𝙁𝙊𝙍𝙂𝙀𝙏 our history as it is not just the past, but also a reminder of our duty to build a better future. ✊🔊
