THE TRUTH ABOUT THE “PHILHEALTH BONUS SCANDAL” NA PILIT ISINASABIT KAY RISA HONTIVEROS: Let’s be clear. The so-called “PhilHealth Bonus Scandal” na ikinakabit kay Risa Hontiveros is nothing but recycled fake news. Eto ang buong timeline with facts, not fiction.

2013 to 2014: Ang Totoong Scandal. PhilHealth illegally released bonuses to its board members. Risa’s status? Not a member. Not present. Not in the building. Hindi kasali. Hindi imbitado. Walang pirma. Walang papel.

November 2014: Saka Pa Lang Siya Pumasok. Risa was appointed as a consumer representative to the PhilHealth Board months after the illegal bonuses were disbursed. Kung baga sa pelikula, pumasok sa eksena pagkataas ng climax. Pero siya ang ginawang kontrabida?

2015 to 2016: Sinisilip ng COA ang Anomalya. The Commission on Audit or COA released a report on the unauthorized bonuses. Risa’s name? Not mentioned. Her role? Not implicated. Refund orders? Legal charges? Wala. Zilch. Zero. Walang pangalan. Walang kaso. Pero ang tsismis, buhay na buhay.
