Here's what I learned after buying a new custom pc targeted for video intensive work
Sure the CPU, GPU and ram are important which you have to do a bit of due diligence to see what specs fit your requirements as well as your budget of course but one thing I did regret is that I did not choose a proper PC case and let them do the picking for me.
Why do I regret it?
I don't have USB type C ports! In today's age, usb c is a game changer and my fastest sd card reader uses a type C. I'm pretty sure my motherboard supports type c. I specifically chose this motherboard because it has built in wifi and bluetooth so I wouldn't have to bother with those attachments that you still need to buy.
So yeah, if you're planning on getting your own custom PC, do the additional work of checking out if the PC case has the ports and enough ports you would need.
Cheers!
