THE GRANDEST OPENING SALVO
Not a win, not a lose!
Just another experience for the team.
To make the story short, we confirmed to become one of the contingents but ended as guest performers for the Opening Salvo of the 77th Araw ng Ipil Inter-High School Cheerdance Competition due to unforeseen circumstances. And, we nailed it.
The Buug National High School Performing Arts Company would like to thank the following for making this journey possible:
Maam Shirley O. Bayona, our school principal, for allowing us to join the competition;
To the assistant coach, Rocelyn Q. Mercado, for her expertise and guidance in the choreography;
To Mrs. Jornalyn Mabini, who became instrumental in raising money for the expenses;
To the Buug NHS PAC cheer captains- Ramil Pinote (head captain), Cydric James Cabahug (Captain), Krysfyll Dhenise Bitangga (co-captain), Klyd Christian Bitangga (co-captain), John Paul Capuno (co-captain), Mae Belle Daway (co-captain), Albert Henry (co-captain), Joven Renze Bansalao (Financial In-Charge), and Ascherdale Louise Zacal (Communications) for their assistance in choreographing the dance;
To the Buug NHS Supreme body, Reyshell Manggaron (SSLG President), for conducting solicitations;
To the Buug NHS PAC Cheerleading Squad performers, for their dedication and commitment to perform;
To the Buug NHS students, faculty, and staff for their moral and financial support, a special thanks to Sir Modesto Amoro and Sir Albano Magsayo for the huge amount they have shared;
To the government officials who have shared an amount- Hon. William Chua, Hon. Sherwin Quintero, Hon. Koko Famor, Hon. Radz Dimasagka, Hon. Allen Paderangga, and Hon. Alfonso Becada;
To the municipality of Ipil through Hon. Trixie Mil Palalon and Hon. Jeff Ureta for considering us and for the warm treatment to the troupe;
To Mayor Ramses Troy D. Olegario, Municipality of Ipil Mayor, for the free and sumptuous lunch;
To Maam Shiela Mae Enoc for her logistical transportation support and for her encouragement;
To the proud parents and guardians for their endless support to their kids, in finances and in boosting their morale;
To everyone who supported us and been with us since Day 1;
To our ever-supportive PAC alumni for extending hands during the preparations and during the day of performance- Kent Aivan Mabini, Zhea Mabini, Rein Rose Mercado, Neña Magdasal, Abegail Manlegro, and Xyrex Lester Dumlao;
To the former PAC members- Khea Jane Cordero, Shane Abegail Rollon, Jomemar Araño, CJ Cuntapay, and Chester Pineda, your presence today made a difference for your PAC brothers and sisters;
And above all to our Almighty God for His endless guidance and provisions, for the safety of everyone since training and rehearsal days, and for sustaining us!
Truly, to make one great team it will take a village to back them up in their journeys and endeavors, and I, Belijun Baroy (Head Coach of Buug NHS Performing Arts Company) is immensely grateful of all these.
For Buug NHS!
For PAC!
For our family!
For our community!
And above all for God!
Ardor in Deum, Actio in Deum!
