Lloyd C. Belivestre is a multidisciplinary artist, music educator, and creative leader whose passion lies in developing people through music. For many years, he has faithfully led music ministries and mentored aspiring musicians, guiding young artists to discover, refine, and maximize their potential through discipline, creativity, and purpose. He has also participated in various music workshops, seminars, and clinics in different parts of Mindanao, continuously expanding his knowledge and strengthening his commitment to excellence in music education and artistic development.
Beyond music instruction, Lloyd has devoted his work to building communities and empowering the youth through music and the arts. He previously served as the Deputy Executive Director of Ka Bandera, the first and only music organization in the Caraga Region accredited by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) under its National Music Committee. He also served as the Division Chief of the organization's Dance Department under the Artist Residency Program (ARP) 2023, the first artist residency initiative to be conducted in Butuan City and the Caraga Region, contributing to the development and mentorship of emerging artists.
In 2022, he was one of only three scholars from the Caraga Region selected for the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) Capacity Building and Support Program for the Creative Industries. In 2023, he represented his organization in the CCP Performing Arts for Wellness Program and also represented the region during Pasinayaโ๐๐ข๐ญ๐ช๐ต๐ข๐ฏ, a business-to-business meeting, networking, and pitching initiative that brought together the CCP, NCCA, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), Philippine embassies and consulates from around the world, and leading private institutions to strengthen cultural and creative collaborations.
Today, as the Owner and Music Director of L Musika, Lloyd brings together his experience in music, leadership, education, consulting, and creative development to shape a music center that goes beyond conventional instruction. His vision is rooted in the belief that every individual possesses untapped potential waiting to be discovered, nurtured, and developedโnot overlooked or left to fade.
Under his leadership, L Musika is committed to providing quality, theory-based music education, professional music production, and meaningful artistic mentorship through a specialized curriculum that develops not only technical skills but also creativity, discipline, confidence, and purpose. As a multidisciplinary artist, Lloyd believes that music is more than performanceโit is a powerful instrument for education, personal growth, community building, and lasting impact.
