Project Susog Inc., together with Savage Mind: Arts, Books, Cinema, will join the 2026 Filipino Diaspora Summit organized by the Commission on Filipinos Overseas.

On June 16, 2026, at the Marriott Hotel in Pasay City, we will showcase a selection of Buhinon products and merchandise celebrating the culture, heritage, and creativity of Buhi.

Project Susog Inc. warmly congratulates Kristian Sendon Cordero on his selection as a fellow of the prestigious Akademie Schloss Solitude Fellowship in Stuttgart, Germany, for its 2027 cycle.

We take pride in having collaborated with Direk Kristian through various cultural and heritage initiatives. Most recently, Savage Mind partnered with Project Susog in facilitating the Buhi Heritage Tour during the Writing-in-Progress (WIP) Bikol residency organized by the Goethe-Institut Philippinen and Savage Mind: Arts, Books, Cinema, introducing writers and cultural workers to the rich history, landscapes, and heritage sites of our town.

We were also honored to support the production of his documentary film "Nakabuhing Agi-agi", a work that brought wider attention to Buhi’s heritage, memory, and cultural narratives through cinema.

As the first Bikolano selected for this highly competitive international fellowship, Direk Kristian continues to demonstrate how regional languages, stories, and communities can resonate on the global stage. May this new chapter open even greater opportunities for creative work, cultural exchange, and the continued celebration of Bikol heritage.

A small yet meaningful recognition for heritage conservation in Buhi. Our restoration effort for the pre-war historical marker of the Church of Buhi was featured for more than a minute in the latest episode of I JUANder, highlighting heritage structures in the City of Manila.

Produced by GMA Public Affairs, I JUANder is known for showcasing stories of Filipino heritage, culture, history, and local communities across the country. It is truly an honor to see Buhi and our local conservation efforts become part of that conversation.

Our collective effort to restore the pre-war historical marker of the Church of Buhi was given over a minute of exposure in the latest episode of I JUANder, which featured heritage structures in the City of Manila. A well-loved travel and cultural documentary program by GMA Public Affairs, I JUANder highlights stories of heritage, history, food, and local culture across the Philippines.

Special thanks to SJ Go and Manileños For Heritage for partnering with us in this meaningful restoration initiative. We hope this becomes the beginning of more heritage conservation efforts for our beloved town of Buhi.

Sa bawat pagwagayway ng ating Pambansang Watawat ay muli nating ginugunita ang tapang, dangal, at pagkakaisa ng sambayanang Pilipino. Higit pa sa isang simbolo, ang watawat ay salamin ng ating kasaysayan, pakikibaka, at kolektibong pagkakakilanlan bilang isang bayan.

Ngayong paggunita sa anibersaryo ng Labanan sa Alapan—ang unang makasaysayang pagwagayway ng watawat noong 1898—inaanyayahan namin ang bawat isa na buong galang at pagmamalaking itaas ang bandila ng Pilipinas sa ating mga tahanan, paaralan, tanggapan, at komunidad.

Sa pagpapahalaga sa watawat, pinangangalagaan din natin ang alaala, kultura, at kalayaang ipinaglaban ng mga nauna sa atin.
