Note #38: Ang totoo, yung mga taong kayang itapon ka ng ganun kadali, hindi mo kailangan sa buhay mo. Hindi mo kailangan ng mga taong magmamahal lang sa iyo kapag may pakinabang ka. Hindi mo kailangan ng mga taong hindi kayang tanggapin ang mga pagkakamali mo. Dahil ang tunay na pagmamahal, hindi yun nakadepende sa kung ano ang maibibigay mo. Ang tunay na pagmamahal, tanggap ka nito kahit ano pa ang estado mo, kahit ano pa ang nagawa mo.

Note #37: Ang hirap isipin na parang wala na akong nararating. Yung pakiramdam na habang sila ay umaangat, ako ay naiipit sa mga problema, sa mga pagdududa, at sa mga tanong kung saan ba ako nagkamali. Minsan, naiisip ko kung may kulang ba sa akin, kung bakit hindi ko magawa yung mga bagay na nagagawa nila. Bakit parang ang dali para sa kanila, pero para sa akin, parang ang hirap?

Note #36: Siguro, parte ng paghihintay ay ang pagtanggap na hindi natin kontrolado ang lahat. Hindi natin mapipilit ang pag-ibig na dumating sa atin. Ang magagawa lang natin ay maging bukas sa posibilidad nito. At habang naghihintay, mahalaga rin na mahalin natin ang sarili natin. Kasi paano natin maibibigay ang pagmamahal sa iba kung hindi natin kayang ibigay ito sa sarili natin?

Note #35: Mahalaga rin na alagaan natin ang sarili natin. Hindi natin kailangang maging perfect. Hindi natin kailangang i-please ang lahat ng tao. Basta ginagawa natin ang best natin, yun na yun. At kung hindi man enough yun para sa iba, okay lang. Ang importante, enough ka para sa sarili mo.

If hindi nyo na ako madalas makita, maka reply sa mga messages, or makasama sa mga invitations nyo HINGA lang ako because the last time I was so sure about my career and goal, pinagod nila ako. The last time I offered my hand, they also tried to take both of my limbs. The last time I was ready to commit, akala nya joke lang. The last time I gave my forgiveness, they still did the same thing. The last time I asked for help, they said kaya mo yan, mag isa ulit ako.
I am not lazy or sad; I am exhausted.
Pahinga lang saglit.

Choose your hard wisely!

Napaisip ka na rin ba sa mga bagay na nahihirapan ka? Or nagpapahirap sayo?

Yung tipong gusto ko na magresign kasi nahihirapan na ako, kaso baka naman mahirapan akong makahanap ng trabaho.

Gusto ko ng magtipid kasi nahihirapan ako pag-nauubusan ng allowance, kaso baka naman mahirapan akong magbudget, baka naman mahirapan akong mag adjust sa lifestyle ko, baka mahirapan ako.

Everyday, ang daming mahirap sa buhay natin, and most of the time we choose to stay to things na pinapahirapan tayo kahit alam naman natin na may ibang bagay na better kahit na mahihirapan tayo.

Choosing the "hard" we want to live can mean deciding what challenges are worth facing, what goals are worth pursuing, and what values are worth upholding. It's about aligning our actions with our aspirations, even when the path is tough.

Sabi nga ng isang student “I embrace the "hard" of late-night study sessions and overcoming academic challenges because each hurdle brings me closer to my dream career (kahit malabo pa). My sacrifices today will pave the way for a brighter tomorrow, making every effort worthwhile.”

Sabi naman ng isang young professional “I choose the "hard" of taking on challenging projects and constantly learning (kahit nakakapagod na) because I believe in my potential to grow. Balancing work and personal life can be tough, but I know that every step forward is a step toward a fulfilling and successful future.”

Sabi ng isang breadwinner “Despite the challenges, I embrace the "hard" of working tirelessly and managing finances to provide for my family (kahit medyo wala ng matira). The love and commitment I have for them make every sacrifice meaningful, knowing that I am creating a better life for us all.”

Sabi ng isang working mom and a head of the family “As a mother and the heart of my family, I choose the "hard" of balancing multiple roles with love and determination (kahit nakakasawa na). Every task, whether big or small, is a labor of love, nurturing my family and creating a warm, supportive home for us all.”

Isn’t it ironic how we say “pagod na ako” and “ayaw ko na”.
Yet, at the end of the day, we choose to persevere and strive to accomplish everything that needs to be done.

Iba talaga ang epekto ng pangarap no? or
Iba talaga ang epekto ng pangangailangan no?

Yung pagod at pasuko kana pero pipilitin mo padin para sa pangarap, para sa sarili, at para sa pamilya.

Minsan nga sa sobrang pagod natin automatic na yung mga luha at yung buntong hininga natin sobrang lalim na.

But really, do we have any other choice?

It could be both a yes and a no.

One thing remains certain: you must keep showing up, no matter how you feel—whether you're sad or tired.

Life and time don't pause.
It doesn't wait for anyone; you just have to keep pushing forward.

These are some of the complimentary words na madalas natin sinasabi to people around us. But, have you ever thought about the kind of impact our words have on us and others?

A genuine, uplifting word can reach deep into someone's soul, acting as light on a dark day, and a red in a blue. A kind word has the potential to trigger a cascade of positivity, brightening not just a single moment but an entire day. Ang sarap kaya masabihan ng "ang cute mo", " ang bango mo", "ang fresh mo". Believe in the power of small and kind words and gestures. Sometimes, a person cherishes these compliments for years. Words have the power to inspire, uplift, and reshape someone's entire perspective.

So, let's remain mindful of the impact our words can have. Our words might just be the encouragement someone's heart has been longing for.

Kaya pagsinabihan ka ni manong driver, ng kaibigan mo, ng kasama mo sa trabaho, "ang ganda mo ngayon", ibalik mo. Let's create a better world through our words.

Hey there, Ka-NOTES! It feels like ages since we last caught up. Tracking down my pen was quite the adventure. Not that I actually misplaced it; I simply had a temporary lapse in penmanship prowess. But here I am, making the most of the lingering ink in one of my trusty old pens.

Let me paint a picture of this pen's inception: it wasn't just any run-of-the-mill pen. Picture a sleek, transparent casing with elegant black caps at both ends, brimming with ink. This pen was versatile, a jack-of-all-trades - perfect for jotting down notes, sealing important documents, or doodling whimsical sketches.

And now? Well, it's on the brink of disposal, destined for the forgotten abyss. It's the natural order of things, isn't it? When usefulness wanes or interest wanes, you're cast aside. Forgotten. But if fortune favors you, you might just find someone who cherishes you to the very last drop of ink, spinning tales of your...

The pen has run dry, prompting me to switch to my keyboard to reiterate: "Even the humblest of pens, once wielded with purpose, leaves a mark on the pages of our lives. Remember them well."

For the past years, we kept on asking ourselves “Para kanino ka bumabangon?”, and we have our own different answers, so diverse in context and nature. Minsan nga feeling natin kasama na tayo sa coffee commercial.

But this year let’s make a difference, instead of asking ourselves the same question, asked “Kanino ka ba umaasa?”, “Kanino ba dapat tayo umaasa?”.

Sa 8 grapes na kinain natin sa ilalim ng lamesa last Media Noche? Sa prosperity bowl na may 12 eggs o sa 12 round fruits sa table nyo? Sa horoscope mo this year? Sa sweldo natin every 15 and 30? Sa jowa nating panay promises and panay babawi ako next time? Sa kita ng mga business mo? O sa sarili nating strength?

And for sure, na try natin lahat ‘yan. Some happened and succeeded, pero breaker diba, mostly kasi ng ending ay disappointments.

Kaya this year let’s place our hopes on Him - trust His hand and His plans - and remember that if God can create the world in 6 days, who’d say He cannot change our lives in one!

Put our hopes on Him.
Hope, even if it means spending a thousand evenings.
Hope, even when you're hurting and breaking.
Hope, even if everything we know is taken away.
Hope, even we tasted and saw it all.
Hope, even hoping feels like abandoning.

Let God be God and let God lead the way. God can do so much more than we can, sometimes we just need to sit back and let Him work.

God has never gone back on His promises.
His steadfast love pursues us.
His grace abounds us.
His mercy covers us.
He is the hope that anchors us.

As we welcome 2023✨, it's important to keep in mind that not everyone is excited and happy. This period of time may be very challenging for some people. Or dati tayo yung nasa sitwasyon nila, tayo yung nasa season ng buhay na ito. They are not misers; they’re simply having a difficult time. Yung iba sasalubong na may kulang na sa pamilya, o di na makakasama yung taong kasama nila last year, yung iba may be facing financial difficulty, dealing with isolation or loneliness and feeling overwhelmed by the upcoming year.

And it is really simple to become trapped in our own problems and disregard those of others at madalas natin nalilimutan yung mga taong sumama sa atin. Kaya this year tayo naman ang sasama, that even our smallest act of kindness might make someone's new year a little more optimistic. We can make this year simpler for individuals who need extra help, love, and care by being there for one another. Asking for “help” isn’t abandoning or throwing in the white cloth, it’s refusing to give up.

Kasama si God, kasama kami, sama-sama tayo sa 2023 (kahit magmahal din ang bawang😁). And remember that our hope shouldn’t lie in the coming year... but in The One who renews everything.

Kaya naman….
Sa pakikinig sa mga drama ko.
Sa pagdamay sa problema ko.
Sa biglaang mga oo sa mga lakad ko.
Sa pagpapaalala sa pagkaligaw ko.
Sa pagtupad ng mga kahilingan ko.
Sa pagtulong sa mga kailangan ko.
