This July 2026, Dagalak proudly celebrates its 10th Founding Anniversary.
What began as a dream among just schoolmates – some acquaintances and even strangers – joined together just by a shared passion for singing, grew into a decade-long journey filled with unforgettable performances, meaningful friendships, and countless, cherished memories. Through triumphs and challenges, we found our purpose in every rehearsal, every competition, every concert, and every note we sang together. Yet, as with all beautiful journeys, the time has come for us to take our final bow and close this chapter of our lives with grateful hearts.
To our home for the past ten years, Dr. Yanga’s Colleges, Inc. under the leadership of President Michael S. Yanga, maraming salamat po for believing in us, supporting us, and providing us with a place where music and excellence can flourish.
To our beloved audiences, families, and friends – thank you for lending us your ears to listen to every note that we have sung, and your hearts for valuing our craft and allowing our music to become part of your lives. Thank you for all the cheer, applauses, and for completing the other half of our semicircle, making each of our performances meaningful and unforgettable.
To the composers and arrangers of our music, our fellow choristers from other choirs, advisers, voice coaches, and collaborating artists, thank you for helping us find our voice and share our music with the world.
And to all our singers, most especially, who have sung, laughed, cried, learned, and grown with Dagalak over the last ten years – maraming, maraming, maraming salamat. You are the heart of this choir, and your stories will forever be part of our song no matter how much time passes.
Ten years of music.
Ten years of memories.
Ten years of harmony, friendship, and purpose.
