Yesterday, on the 7th day of simbang gabi, we are blessed to have mass service at the Church of Gesu in Ateneo De Manila University presided by Fr. Francis Alvarez.

As we draw closer to the birth of Christ, may this homily serve as a reminder to place our trust in God’s greater plan.

A blessed start to Simbang Gabi ✨

DYCI Dagalak is honored to serve as the choir for the first night of Simbang Gabi, offering our voices in prayer, praise, and thanksgiving.

We are also deeply grateful to DYCI Symphonia for performing alongside us and sharing this meaningful celebration. May our music help set a prayerful tone as we journey together toward Christmas.

Yesterday, DYCI Dagalak had the honor of singing Christmas carols at the Philippine General Hospital’s Cancer Ward for the very first time. It was an experience that felt heavy on the heart yet filled with quiet strength. Meeting the patients and their families showed us a different side of Christmas—one shaped by courage, prayer, and hope.

Through every song we offered, we prayed that our presence brought even a small light to their day. May this season strengthen their faith, bring comfort to their families, and remind them that God’s love remains steadfast even in the hardest battles.

We hope that the Christmas spirit continues to embrace them with healing and peace.
We are truly grateful for the opportunity to be with them. Their smiles, their stories, and even their silence touched us deeply and reminded us why we sing. Thank you, PGH, and to the people that allowed us to share a moment of Christmas with you.
