ALTAR OF REPOSE | Keeping watch with the Lord

📖 Matthew 26:40
“So, could you not watch with me one hour?”

After the Mass of the Lord’s Supper, our youth, together with the parishioners of San Agustin Village, gathered in prayer before the Altar of Repose during their assigned hour of vigil.

In silence and adoration, we stayed with Jesus—keeping watch with Him in His hour of agony.

Even in moments when we feel lost or uncertain, God is already at work within us. Like the blind man, we may not understand everything at first, but when we trust in Him, our eyes are opened not just to see, but to believe.

Just like the Samaritan woman, we all search for something to fill the emptiness within us, but true fulfillment is found only in Him. When we encounter Christ, our hearts are renewed, and we are called to share His love with others.

Listen to Jesus and trust Him.

The Gospel reminds us of the moment when Jesus was transfigured before His disciples. Even in moments of doubt or darkness, God reveals His glory to strengthen our faith. May we learn to listen to Him and follow His light in our daily lives.
