The Marian Visual Art Society (MVAS) extends its sincere appreciation to PSSg. 𝗝𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗻 𝗡𝗮𝘇𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼,𝗥𝗖𝗿𝗶𝗺, for discussing the "Sexual Harassment and Safe Spaces Act" and to Hon. 𝗛𝗲𝗶𝗱𝗶 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗼𝘇𝗮, 𝗖𝗣𝗔, Former Undersecretary General of United Nations (OIOS) at Former Commissioner of Commission on Audit (COA), for sharing her remarkable story of integrity, courage, and public service during the 2026:

As a token of gratitude and admiration, a portrait painting created by Michael Jerome Bueno, President of the Marian Visual Art Society, was presented to Hon. Mendoza. The artwork symbolizes the Marian community’s deep respect for her unwavering commitment to truth, accountability, and ethical leadership.

Her journey reminds us that strength, perseverance, and principled leadership can break barriers and inspire generations.

In celebration of Women’s Month, SMU held the Agayus Watershed Fair 2026, where Marian Visual Arts Society (MVAS) members showcased their talent through a mural painting.

The artwork features a goddess symbolizing women as protectors of the watershed and the source of Nueva Vizcaya’s rich harvests. 🌿

Before February came to a close, the Marian Visual Arts Society (MVAS) members and officers stepped into the spotlight joining both external and internal competitions in poster making, painting, and storybook creation. Each moment captured reflects their passion, dedication, and love for the arts.

In celebration of Arts Month, MVAS took part in the poster-making competition themed “Brewing Creativity, Building Community” held at Brush and Brew Café in Solano. Representing the organization were:

Last November 6, 2025 and March 25, 2026 , a glimpse into the dedication and collaborative effort behind the production, as SMU Teatro Publiko partnered with the Marian Visual Arts Society in the creation of stage decorations and props .

This collaboration highlights the harmony between performing and visual arts~ where creativity, craftsmanship, and teamwork come together to bring stories to life on stage.💫🎬

In celebration of National Arts Month, the Marian Visual Art Society (MVAS) successfully held Art Talks on February 19, 2026 at the Museo De Maria AVR Room, gathering students and artists for a meaningful morning of creativity, learning, and artistic exchange.

The event featured inspiring artists who shared their artistic journeys, creative processes, and the stories behind their artworks. Through their presentations, participants gained deeper insight into the role of art as a powerful form of expression, culture, and identity.

The MVAS extends their gratitude to the following Guest Artists:

Their experiences and perspectives encouraged students to explore their creativity and appreciate the diverse forms of visual art.

The Marian Visual Art Society remains committed to promoting art appreciation, creativity, and artistic dialogue within the Marian community.
