In celebration of National Women’s Month, the FCIC Performing Arts Company led an energizing Zumba activity last Wednesday. High School students, CTE and CJE Officers, faculty members, staff, and non-teaching personnel actively participated, filling the venue with enthusiasm and lively music. The activity became a joyful moment of unity and appreciation for the contributions of women in the community.

Through dance and fitness, the Zumba session promoted empowerment, wellness, and solidarity. Participants enjoyed the energetic routines while showing their support for women’s strength, resilience, and achievements. The FCIC Performing Arts Company, together with the Culture & Arts Club, joined hands for a meaningful Community Extension Services at Brgy. Santo Rosario, Baybay City, Leyte, sharing the beauty of dance and music with the young members of the community.

The team introduced basic folk dance movements, with special focus on the Fundamental Dance Positions, supervised by Mr. Dennis R. CaΓ±ega, alongside basic singing training headed by Mr. Lance Axl Metran. Beyond style and technique, the activity was filled with fun and engaging games, laughter, and moments of connection.
