KALPANA (GB) delivered another magnificent performance to capture the 2026 G1 Yorkshire Oaks (1½ miles / 2400m) at York Racecourse in York, England. 🇬🇧🔥🐎

Under a perfectly judged ride by Colin Keane, the talented mare showed tremendous courage and determination in the closing stages, holding on in a thrilling finish to secure another prestigious Group 1 victory.

KALPANA fought all the way to the wire, narrowly defeating Sparan Nua by a short head, with Minnie Hauk finishing third in the 2,400-meter contest.

A daughter of Study Of Man (IRE) out of Zero Gravity (GB), KALPANA is a true Juddmonte homebred and has continued to establish herself among the elite middle-distance mares in Europe.

The Yorkshire Oaks triumph marked another major milestone in KALPANA’s remarkable 2026 campaign, following her famous victory over the world’s leading horses in the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot.

UNFORGETTABLE MOMENT OF JOCKEY LEANDRO HENRIQUE 🏇🕊️

One of the most memorable moments of the late jockey Leandro Henrique came in Brazil’s biggest race, the G1 Grande Premio Brasil.

With 50 meters to go, he began celebrating early, not realizing that a horse was closing fast on his inside. In the end, SINSEL held off VALPARAISO by a nose! 🤏🏼🇧🇷

A remarkable moment from the career of a jockey who will always be remembered in Brazilian horse racing. 🕊️🏇

ITEM (GB) delivered a brilliant performance to capture the 2026 G1 Juddmonte International Stakes (1m2½f / 2050m) at York Racecourse in York, England. 🇬🇧🔥🐎

Under a perfectly judged ride by Colin Keane, the talented c**t showed tremendous class and determination in the closing stages, battling strongly to secure a memorable Group 1 victory.

ITEM edged out Almaqam by a neck, with Constitution River finishing third after another strong performance in the 2,050-meter contest.

A son of Frankel (GB) out of Capla Temptress (IRE), ITEM has continued to establish himself among Europe’s leading middle-distance horses, adding another major victory to his impressive campaign.

REST IN PEACE, JOCKEY LEANDRO HENRIQUE 🕊️🏇🖤

The Brazilian racing community mourns the tragic passing of Leandro Henrique, one of Brazil’s most accomplished jockeys.

He began his career through the Jockey Club Brasileiro’s riding school and became a three-time Rio de Janeiro jockey champion. He recorded over 1,000 career wins, including major victories in the G1 Brazilian Derby and the 2025 G1 Grande Prêmio Brasil aboard SINSEL.

On August 16, 2026, Leandro suffered a tragic fall during Race 2 at the Jockey Club Brasileiro in Gávea, Rio de Janeiro. After fighting for his life for several days, he sadly passed away on August 19, 2026, at just 27 years old.

The Philippine racing community joins the Brazilian racing fraternity in mourning the loss of a fellow jockey and horseman.

REST IN PEACE, JOCKEY CK KHAW 🕊️🏇🖤

The Malaysian racing community mourns the passing of CK Khaw, a respected Malaysian jockey who made his name at the Selangor Turf Club and other Malaysian racecourses.

Khaw began his riding career as an apprentice at the age of 19 and went on to record an impressive 218 career victories. In 2019, he achieved one of the biggest wins of his career when he partnered SACRED EMPIRE to victory in the Group 1 Coronation Cup at Perak Turf Club.

In 2025, he was also part of Malaysian racing history when he rode SUPER SALUTE to victory in the Penang Turf Club Farewell Trophy, on the final day of racing at Penang Turf Club.

On August 9, 2026, Khaw recorded the final victory of his career aboard IRONCLAD in Race 2 at Selangor Turf Club.

Later that day, tragedy struck in Race 7 while riding TEAM WORK. The horse veered outwards before cutting back in and crashing through the running rail between the 400m and 300m marks, throwing Khaw from the saddle and leaving him critically injured.

After remaining in a coma for nearly a week, CK Khaw sadly passed away on August 17, 2026, at the age of 32.

The Philippine racing community joins the Malaysian racing fraternity in mourning the loss of a fellow horseman whose life was dedicated to the sport.

Our deepest condolences to his family, friends, fellow jockeys, trainers, owners, and everyone who was part of his racing journey.

Under a perfectly judged ride by Mickaël Barzalona, the talented c**t showcased his class and determination over the straight 1,600-meter course to secure a memorable Group 1 victory.

A son of Sea The Moon (GER) out of Rayisa (IRE), RAYIF has established himself as one of the leading three-year-olds in France, having already captured the 2026 G1 Poule d’Essai des Poulains over the same 1,600-meter distance earlier in the season.
