Melodious Drum and Bugle Corps was founded in 2006 on Bantayan Island by a 13-year-old girl and an experienced band trainer. It consists of talented out-of-school youths and students from various backgrounds who share a passion for music that hail from different parts of Bantayan Island, forming a tightly knit musical community that supports and nurtures each other's growth. With a strong vision t

o be an example and guide young individuals away from negative influences, the founders established this group to foster a love for music and provide an avenue for personal growth and artistic expression. Melodious Drum and Bugle Corps stands as a testament to the belief that music can change lives and transcend boundaries. That music resides within us all, and it can serve as a positive force for personal development and community cohesion. Regardless of background or age, the band firmly embraces the idea that each individual possesses the potential to become a remarkable musician in their own unique drumcorp way.
