Agyaman kami 🤍

A huge thank you to everyone who joined, supported, and held space with us during IRUGI’s first event, especially our artists and merchants who said yes despite the last-minute invite. Your energy, generosity, and trust truly brought the event to life and reminded us why we do this.

𝖯𝖺𝗋𝖺 𝗂𝗍𝗂 𝗄𝗈𝗆𝗎𝗇𝗂𝖽𝖺𝖽, 𝗉𝖺𝗋𝖺 𝗍𝗂 𝗆𝖺𝗒𝗌𝖺 𝗄𝖾𝗇 𝗆𝖺𝗒𝗌𝖺.

From setting up your booths, sharing your work and creative process, to connecting with others, you made the space feel warm, intentional, and rooted in care. IRUGI exists because of people like you. Creatives who show up, support one another, and help build something meaningful together.

We also want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Pablo’s and The Backyard Project for opening your space to us and supporting the event. Your generosity, hospitality, and trust created a safe, welcoming environment for the community to gather, share, and create. We are truly thankful for your belief in IRUGI’s vision.

Join our Facebook group, IRUGI Collective, where we’ll share updates on future gatherings, open discussions for ideas, and continue growing this network of creatives.

If you’d like to be more involved, we also encourage you to sign up as a member of IRUGI! Members will have early access to event announcements, opportunities to collaborate, and a chance to help shape the future of our creative circle.

At IRUGI, we believe in centering local voices.

These Abreñian artists create stories that speak of place, people, and purpose using film as a tool for reflection, dialogue, and change.

We’re proud to feature them in our event. Read their bionotes below and join us in supporting local cinema.

See you all soon! 💌
