The UP Baguio CAC Summer Arts Workshop is back! 🖌️🎨📷

Make your last weeks of school vacation productive by learning a new skill and meeting new friends. Join us in a festival of art workshops this coming June 2-7, 2025!

The UP Baguio CAC Summer Arts Workshop 2025 features various workshops facilitated by instructors from the UP Baguio College of Arts and Communication! For this year, we will open five workshops for children and teens, while we will open one FREE workshop for the UPB community. Residents and non-residents of Baguio City may participate. The medium of instruction will be English and Filipino.

WORKSHOP DETAILS:
🧱 Terracotta (Free workshop for the UPB Community)
Instructor: Ms. Jhoan Medrano
Schedule: Monday-Tuesday (9:00 am-12:00 pm)
Materials needed: Clay (to be paid by participants for PHP 200)

🎨 Painting
For 14 years old and above
Instructor: Asst. Prof. Joseph Andrew Carvajal
Schedule: Monday-Friday (9:00 am-12:00 pm)

🧶 Arts and Crafts
For 6 years old and above
Instructor: Mr. Reynaldo Senin, Jr.

For 14 years old and above

Schedule: Monday-Friday (1:00 pm-4:00 pm)
Materials needed: Clay and other materials are already available (PHP 300 for the clay, colors, and firing of clay)

✂️ Rubbercut Printmaking and Repousse'
For 14 years old and above
Instructor: Asst. Prof. Joseph Andrew Carvajal
Schedule: Monday-Friday (1:00 pm-4:00 pm)
Materials needed: Tools are already available for PHP 300

WORKSHOP FEES:
Dependents of UPB employees and students: PHP 1000
Regular (non-UPB dependent): PHP 2000

Good day, 2023 Terracotta Workshop Participants.
Your packed fired/baked works are at the UPB-CAC's Darnay Demetillo Art Space already,
ready for pick up, weekdays at 9AM-12NN and 1-4PM only.

Kindy ask a CAC staff to direct you to this Space, and ask the guard for assistance in locating your labeled package.

We and our contact artisans, terracotta experts, in La Union did our best in handling and firing/baking the works.
There was a bit of broken and burned pieces (expected due to the fragile nature of the material), but most pieces are intact.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.
