Mailing Service Update: Last week we stopped by the Baguio Post Office to send off some postcards! 📮

Since we were selling Baguio and Benguet postcards at the recent , we also decided to offer a mailing service. Fair goers could buy a postcard, buy some stamps, and drop off their mail in the mailbox we set up at our booth.

After the fair, we collected the postcards in our mailbox and forwarded them to the PhilPost mailboxes. While we can’t say for certain how soon they’ll arrive at their destinations (because it is snail mail), we wish each one safe travels! 💌

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth and the baguiocraftfair today!

When we said that Iam would be at the booth more than I would be, it was a joke but also the truth. If you thought it was me there, it was most likely my sister KnottyTroi.

But If you missed my workshop today, I still have kits that include the workbook and bonus worksheets that you can purchase tomorrow at day 2 of the Baguio Craft Fair. We open at 10am (or earlier 😉) and end at 6pm.

I don't post as much as I used to. When I started making my calligraphy, lettering, photos, etc, there was no pressure to constantly make content. But when the age of the content creator really started, creating suddenly became beholden to the algorithm.

It's these kinds of reminders that remind me that creating in the background, without the pressure of events and posting online content, is actually what it's about.

“When everything is built around events, art gets reduced to something to be consumed instead of something to be lived… In the end, artists need to be careful not to confuse the event with the art itself. Events can celebrate, showcase, and amplify, but they should not be the heart of the practice. The heart lies in the day-to-day work, the connections built over time, and the commitment to keep making even when no one is watching.”

I finally facilitated a Baybayin workshop! After more than a year after developing my Baybayin workbook, I reworked it for an intimate learning and crafting session at Vivita Philippines - Vivistop Baguio

After a short history lesson and going through the worksheets, we put on our crafting hats and played with some of VIVISTOP’s toys like the button pin maker, heat press, 3D printer, laser cutter, and even some rubber print carving tools!

It’s really such a privilege for me to share this knowledge that was also generously passed on to me by other artists and enthusiasts.
