Baguio City-based visual artist and graphic designer, Rani Lapada, began lettering during her high school and college days. The majority of her calligraphy and hand lettering works were created with watercolor and brush pens. Her love of typography and calligraphy led her to discover portraits, which later became her favorite painting subject. She continues to hone her skills in painting by experi

menting with watercolor, acrylic, and oil pastels. With her evolving approach to arts, Rani’s focus is on infusing varied concepts, including surrealism, abstraction, and expressionism into her future works.

I’m Teacher Rani, an artist, and the facilitator behind this upcoming painting workshop for kids.

I believe that every child is creative and that art is a wonderful way to build confidence, express oneself, play and have fun. Through this guided workshop, we’ll learn some painting techniques using acrylics, create a piece that your child is proud of, and showcase it through a mini exhibit.

This creative experience is designed for young artists ages 6-10 to explore creativity, celebrate their work, and bring home a painting they’re proud of.

“What is done in love is done well. “ – Vincent van Gogh

I simply loved how the sunlight hits my artworks.
I’m sharing a few of the watercolor artworks I’ve created throughout the years.

This “unforgiving” (as some could argue) medium has taught me that sometimes, we just need to let go. Let go of the pressures of this world, and the need to get yourself together :)))

Hello all! 👋🏽

It's been 2 years since my last post on this account. Can you believe that?! 😆 To be honest, 2021 and 2022 were not easy years for me personally or as a creative. I even thought of selling my art supplies because I was so anxious to create, thinking that all of this would just lead me nowhere. But here I am, having the courage to show up again and share this talent with all of you🤎 Also, because I change my artist name so frequently (haha), I've decided to use my real name instead.(Hindi maka-decide si ante! 😂)

If you're still here, I appreciate you waiting for me (ayiee)🥹😂. Although I'm not sure where this artistic adventure will take me, I can't wait to explore every aspect of it.
