When Elijah said, “Lord, I want to die,” I’m reminded that even faithful people can reach moments of deep exhaustion.

I’ve felt overwhelmed by relationships.
I’ve worried about my career and whether I’m moving in the right direction.
I’ve stared at my finances and wondered how everything would work out.
I’ve lost interest in things I once enjoyed.
I’ve traveled, smiled for photos, and still carried battles no one could see.
I’ve tried to take care of myself and still felt tired in ways that sleep couldn’t fix.

Depression is real. Anxiety is real. Burnout is real.

But so is the God who stays with me when life feels heavy.
So is the God who carries me when I don’t have the strength to carry myself.
So is the God who reminds me that my story isn’t over.

Some days I don’t need all the answers. I just need to remember that God is still here—and that His grace is enough to help me take the next step.

There are moments in life when faith feels heavy, not because God has moved away, but because something in us is walking in the opposite direction of His breath.

We push. We strive. We force what God never asked us to carry. And slowly, quietly, we become tired in places prayer used to refresh. But the Spirit of God is not meant to be resisted.

He is Ruach: the Holy Wind that gives life, direction, and strength to the soul that yields.

And when you walk against Him, it is not that He stops loving you… it is that everything becomes harder than it was ever meant to be. Not because God is punishing you, but because grace is being resisted.

There is a kind of exhaustion that does not come from doing too much—but from doing what God is not breathing on. But then comes the mercy of God: the invitation to turn. Not into perfection. Not into performance. But into alignment.

Because the moment you turn toward Him… everything changes.

What once drained you begins to lift you. What once felt forced begins to flow. What once felt like survival begins to feel like guidance. You do not overpower the Wind. You surrender to it. And in surrender, you find strength you never manufactured.

In the world, people say, “Push harder.” But the Spirit whispers, “Walk with Me.”

And suddenly, the life that felt like resistance becomes motion. Not because circumstances changed, but because direction did. So the question is not, “How strong are you?” The question is, “Which way are you walking?”

Because when your life aligns with the Spirit, even ordinary steps become carried by divine wind. And what once felt like a struggle becomes something almost sacred:
..the wind of His Spirit at your back ❤️‍🔥

📖 Philippians 4:13
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

This verse is not a promise that we can achieve anything by our own desires or strength. Rather, it is a reminder that through Christ, we can endure every season of life—whether in abundance or in hardship. The Apostle Paul wrote these words while facing trials, teaching us that true strength comes from trusting God, not from our circumstances.

When life feels overwhelming, Christ gives us the strength to keep moving forward. When challenges seem impossible, He provides the grace to persevere. Our confidence is not in ourselves but in the One who empowers us.

🙏 Whatever you are facing today, remember: God's strength is greater than your weakness, and His grace is sufficient for every battle.

From "soon" to "booked" 🙏🏼

Something about the parable of the wheat and tares that we in the body of Christ tend to ignore, is that at no point whatsoever in the process of seed, time, and harvest do the tares turn into wheat. This should really give us something to think about within the church and within what we call Christianity today, as we’re so quick to accept everything that appears to be holy, as if it really is. But understanding the significance of this parable shouldn’t stop there. We need to also accept and heed the following additional warnings:

1. The enemy who successfully sowed the tares in the field, was only able to do so because the man to whom the field belonged was asleep at the time… not keeping watch over his field. (You must stay spiritually sober and KEEP WATCH!)

2. The enemy didn’t choose to sow his seed in bad ground. He didn’t sow it on the wayside amongst thorns, thistles, and rocks. He looked for GOOD and FERTILE ground to sow it in. (Just because the ground you’re planted in is fertile, does NOT mean the enemy won’t try to plant seed there as well! In his eyes, the more fertile, the better!)

3. Though tares are almost undistinguishable against wheat, they CAN be distinguished. BUT trying to uproot tares amongst wheat without the possibility of also destroying the wheat in the process, is difficult. That’s why Jesus said it’s best to let the tares continue to grow amongst the wheat… but why, really, is that best? (Warn against tares, and let Jesus do the rest!)

4. It’s best because the main purpose of a tare is to choke out and kill the growth of the weak and apathetic wheat around it. BUT the thing is, tares are NOT successful in doing so amongst determined, strong, and healthy wheat! (Stay strong and faithful, it’s the ONLY way you’ll make it to harvest! Lukewarm wheat won’t make it!)

5. And last but certainly not least, even though the tare is indeed somewhat distinguishable against wheat, it is MOST distinguishable right before harvest. You see, when wheat fully “ripens” it bends, dies, and changes color. Tares DO NOT! Instead they continue to stand tall in their pride without any change whatsoever. Wheat BOWS, DIES, AND CLOAKS ITSELF IN READINESS FOR HARVEST! (Stay humble, die to self, and cloak yourself in the righteousness of Christ!)

To my family in Christ Jesus, I pray you can understand the extreme importance and significance of this parable as it pertains to your life and to the body of Christ. Just because someone “looks” like a follower of Christ doesn’t always mean they are. Outward appearance isn’t always a reflection of inward devotion. Stay alert, stay awake, and stay strong… and most importantly, don’t ever, ever, EVER let the tares planted around you suffocate your growth in Christ Jesus! God bless.

Jesus didn’t only speak about love
He demonstrated it.

Through sacrifice.
Through pain.
Through the cross.

God saw your brokenness, your failures, your struggles…
and still chose to give everything for you.

That is how deep His love goes.

So when you wonder if God cares,
look at the cross.

It already answered that question forever.
